Pet Refuge Our team is volunteer based and amazing! For the past 30+ years, the dedicated volunteers of Pet Refuge Inc.

Pet Refuge is a limited admission cat and dog shelter that supports the Michiana community and animal control facilities by taking in cats and dogs needing homes and placing them in permanent homes. have devoted their time, and opened their hearts, to the abandoned animals of Northern Indiana. Sprinkle is a sweet, timid 2 year old girl. It will take her a little bit to warm up to other animals. She’s insanely beautiful and soft. Will sit right next to you on the couch and lay by you in bed!

Her foster sister just got adopted and it’s her turn. Be careful, she will steal all of your Doritos 😄

Let's celebrate! 🥳 Nimby, a cat 🐱 with a spicy 🌶️ personality, has found her forever home. Despite her hiss and swat response, she was a favorite from a distance. It's always said that there's someone for every cat, and Nimby found her someone in Miranda.

Miranda, who agreed to foster Nimby a few months ago, knew from the start that Nimby was home. After a long wait of almost 4️⃣ years at Pet Refuge, Nimby's journey has finally come to a joyous end❗️💗

Meet Barney at adoptions tonight from 6-8! He said for being a senior dog (8 years old) he still has moves !!! Barney is a sweet boy who is so stylish in his winter coat. He does want you to know he wants to be an only child so no other pets in the home. He requires all your attention and doesn’t want to share his attention with other 4 legged siblings.

There is cleaning involved, feeding meals, walks and fun in the yard, where you can help them learn new things like jumping through the hoop like Turtle here !
