***Attention Clients**

We are sure that many of you have seen the news about Save This Life microchip registry no longer being in business. As a customer of Tender Care, if your pet received a microchip through our office, that microchip was a Save This Life chip. Please be rest assured that the microchip is safe and there are no quality issues. However, due to the recent business operations disruption of Save This Life, it is imperative that you re-register the microchip to assure appropriate tracking if your pet were to become lost.

Going forward, Tender Care will be switching to AVID microchips, their company has been reuniting pets with their families since 1985.

AVID has offered to reregister your pets Save This Life chip with their registry for free. This is a lifetime registration for no charge. Just scan the QR code in the notice below and follow the instructions.

The second option if you choose is also a free registry service at www.freepetchipregistry.com. This is a free database that is connected to the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) Universal Pet microchip lookup tool.

Either of these registry sites will help reunite you with your pet if ever they should be lost. If you don't have a copy of your pet's microchip number feel free to contact our office.

Good Morning! Just a reminder our office will have shortened hours this next week. Friday January 24th we will only be open until noon. We will be open Monday January 27th-28th from 8-5:30pm. Wednesday January 29th- February 2nd we will be open from 8-12pm Have a good rest of the week! 😁

Help Make a Shelter Animal's Wish Come True This Holiday Season!
As we approach the holiday season, many of us are thinking about gifts for our loved ones. But have you ever considered making a wish come true for the animals in shelters? Every year, thousands of animals find themselves in shelters, waiting for a second chance at life. While they might not be able to write letters to Santa, they do have a list of things that could make their stay more comfortable and increase their chances of finding a furever home.

This holiday season, you can help make a difference by fulfilling some of the wish lists we have here in the clinic from the Humane Society of St. Joseph County! It's a simple yet impactful way to spread some joy and give back to animals who need it most. All donations will be picked up by HSSJC on December 20th!

With mother's day just around the corner moms will be gifted flowers. Just as a reminder that some flowers are poisonous to animals.

If you are gifted one of these flowers please put them up high where cats and dogs can not get to.

Dr. "Patsy" Harris prepping for surgery! Dr. "Patsy" wants to share the importance of getting spayed and neutered.

For anyone needing an at home euthanasia service. Dr. Harris’ oldest daughter started this business to help families through these difficult times.

We do offer this service but due to scheduling it is not always possible. This can provide an alternative when we are not available.
