You have seen the rest, now come work with the best! Happy Tails Pet Resort and Spa is in South Burlington, Vermont. We offer dog daycare, overnight boarding for feline and canines. The building was designed just for animals. Entirely air-conditioned and heated working environment. Come to work in an animal facility that doesn’t smell! Large kitchen and laundry room areas with new appliances. Completely waterproof floors with floor drains allowing for a more thorough cleaning with hoses. Multiple connecting indoor and outdoor canine play parks allowing for ease of movement throughout and small group sizes. We have a luxury cattery, The Cat Nip Inn. The cattery has its own air system allowing our feline friends ample circulation. Large, spacious floor to ceiling glass atriums with windows for the cats to view the Vermont landscapes that surround us

Happy Tails team members work extremely hard- They are not just playing with dogs and cats. There is very little sedentary time; you should expect to be moving throughout your entire shift when not on a scheduled break.
This is not a temporary job. We are seeking people who desire long term employment-working at least parttime, 16 hours per week/continue to work hours when home from school. Knowledge of canine behavior, vet tech., dog walker, animal science major, previous dog daycare or rescue experience preferred. MUST BE FULLY COVID-19 VACCINATED. Pay to commensurate with experience.
Some of the duties that you should expect that you will perform include, but not limited to:
Meal preparation & feeding the animals (dogs and cats)
Administering medication, topical, oral, intranasal optical and odic solutions
Cleaning (mopping, sweeping vacuuming etc.)
Filling water buckets
Picking up waste
Trash removal
Dishes
Assisting in grooming salon
Setting up suites for incoming animals
Monitoring small groups of dogs
Retail stocking
Cat care
