The hands of a dog walker. I'm often in gloves with my hands covered in lotion. My hand are beat up daily from dogs that pull aggressively on leash. My hands are often cracked, split and bleeding. Just keeping it sexy! 😆

In response to poor air quality, and heavy rain fall, all dogs will be indoors today. The nearby wildfires are causing a strong burning plastic smell to blanket our neighborhood, leading to my current lung discomfort. Please enjoy some photos from previous boarders today instead.

Good morning Horse Angels.
We are down to 1 standardbreds left in this group. Deadline was yesterday. I've been stressing and consumed by getting these deserving horses safe, however I've had a whole other level of
distraction. My beloved 36 year old Thoroughbred "Moe" has come to the end of his life. I need to find the time to spend with him and plan for his "funeral and burial ". With this said, the Moores have graciously offered a little more time.

They have offered us till the end of today Wednesday the 20th at 8pm for deadline day.
(Just like they would for the Moores rescue page.) In addition, they have also offered an additional week, in case the rest of the horses are not safe by the end of the day today.

HOWEVER, if the rest of the standardbreds are still remaining unhomed by tonight, there will be a fee of $136 per horse for them to feed and board them till next Wednesday November 27th! The truck will be there that evening!

I feel this is fair, as some of the larger standardbreds consume an extreme amount of hay, and trust me they are fed in the pen. I'd rather see these get out of the ship pen immediately, not only due to the extra fees, but it's a stressful and exhausting environment for them. They need out!
They can sustain injuries, mentally and physically.

Please...!!!! I need donors to bail, homes that bail, and approved home offers! LETS GET THE STANDIES OUT OF THE PEN!!! I cannot continue to spend all of my volunteered time with these horses, only to loose them to slaughter. Each month at least one of these standardbreds go back to their original homes. If I discontinue networking the horses, their lives will be lost and their identities will never be known. This is one of my missions, and I feel very strong about saving this amazing breed.
