It's hard to get photos when you are the one on the horse(s) and your husband has a dead phone battery. Due to just "life" on general we finally got to our 2nd show of the year. Yanked my pleasure horse out of the barn after a dealing with some hip issues for the past year and my green ranch horse for some lope classes. Ended up in the top 1/3 of all our classes with the exception of Blue's halter class that was still a 'win' in my book. Blue (JSL Vals Blues Clues) secured a 6th in a large open halter class against some nice halter horses. Beau (Jessie's Big and Rich) rode great for the most part, still had his "look-what-I-can-do, douchbag moments, but was soild overall. Couldn't ask for a lot more after sitting last year out. Planning on getting 2 maybe 3 more times this year.

There will be no price changes for 2024. All lessons will remain $45/hr. All leases will remain as 'cost of care' at $150/mo unless otherwise specified. Showing, banding/braiding, coaching, hauling, ect will be assessed on a show-by-show basis. If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out.

Anyone available for a work day or 3? Working full time, plus another side job and lessons and the farm? Oh, and the flooding from our last two bouts of storms, I got no time to get caught up from winter. What alot don't know is a was sick from October to basically mid February with what was most likely Covid that morphed into pneumonia. In that time I lost control of a lot of chores in the barn and just kinda coasted just trying to keep everyone fed and get from day to day and not die. Now that im back to some level of health (out of shape), it's time for clean up. 😖 Stalls, barn, ripping out fence.......

Im sure at some point in time I have told every one of my riders to rotate their toes towards the horses shoulders. My older riders I explain this concept, but ⬇️Is why I tell them no spurs until that foot and lower leg position is SOLID.
