‘Ever been curious about your puppy’s grandparents? Here are some photos of Toby’s mother, Angel (standard black tri) and his father Monty (standard red Merle). They lived and worked on a farm here in VA. Monty lived to the ripe ole age of 15! He passed in 2021. Angel is retired and living it up as a spoiled house dog these days!

Happy Thanksgiving from Woods Edge Aussies!

Please keep these important pet safety tips in mind when it comes to the Thanksgiving feast:

🦃 Do not feed Turkey to pets. It can cause life-threatening pancreatitis.
🍫 Onions, raisins, grapes, and chocolate are not safe for pets.
🍰 Xylitol, an artificial sweetener in baked goods, can be deadly to pets.
🦴 Do not give your dog bones of any kind. These can cause intestinal blockages.
🗑 Make sure all trash is picked up and removed from pets' reach.
🪪 Make sure pets have proper identification. Pets are more likely to get loose with the increase in visitors.

Happy 11 months to our first litter! I can’t help but smile when I think about all of our puppies  and how they blessed my life during my recovery from surgery, and just really lifted my spirits ❤️.  That was honestly one of my favorite experiences in my entire life, aside from having my own human children.

I saw this on another page and thought I’d post it here for everyone. I’ve had to use Benadryl for doggie bee stings, and I’ve heard about the Hydrogen peroxide trick to induce vomiting, but was unaware that these other OTC meds were ok for dogs too!

Leia and Scout were able to reunite with Patches today for a fun play date! Isn’t she so beautiful?! 😍🤗. It was super sweet, to say the least! Patches is a very happy, healthy, loved girl! ❤️ 🐾

I received a Loki pupdate! He is weighing in at 56 lbs at only 7 1/2 months old!!! Look at his beautiful coloring! Ah I miss that sweet face! He’s living his best only dog life 🤗

Happy Father’s Day!!!! We are a day late posting this,  because we were busy celebrating the human father in the family. I certainly don’t want to take away from Toby’s fathering skills, however. He was an integral part of his puppies’ lives, from Leia’s pregnancy all the way up until the day that they left to go to their new homes. Here are just a few photos of him, nurturing and caring for his little family. I hope that he will get the chance to do it again ❤️
