One surgery is behind Sammy but sadly, he needs another πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ
The right hip and knee have been repaired by Dr. Mackenzie and Sammy is in a full recovery mode. Vet check up coming up, next surgery coming up… and help with donations is still needed.

Sammy was recently found abandoned in a dog park in Holly Hill and taken to safety by Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare
He had trouble walking and CCFAW took him to AVS in South Daytona. He was diagnosed as having Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease πŸ˜ͺ which will cause him to lose range of motion and experience severe pain and inability to continue activity.
He needed double leg surgery so the orthopedic surgeon could fix his torn ACLs and dislocated kneecaps. The surgery was performed and he is recovering at Cheryl's (Cheryl is one of the founders of CCFAW) house.
CCFAW had to pay for the surgery up front at a cost of over $7,000.00.
CCFAW rarely asks for help for veterinary care but this has taken a huge bite out of funds that we use to help all the other pet owners who contact us every day. We help everyone.
CCFAW needs your help to cover the costs of the surgery and the future veterinary care required so Sammy can make a full recovery. If you can help, please consider making a donation to CCFAW via the website:
http://www.ccfaw.org/donations.html
Please share far and wide, we need all the help we can get.
See a link to a video of how he used to walk in the comments below:

CCFAW low-cost pet shot clinic for August! We also sell pet meds at the clinics too. Proceeds from the pet shot clinics go to help other animals in need.

Sammy was recently found abandoned in a dog park in Holly Hill and taken to safety by Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare of Volusia County. Shortly after he arrived in a temporary foster home, he was seen by a vet and unfortunately diagnosed with Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease πŸ˜ͺ which will most likely cause him to experience severe pain and inability to continue activity. He is also beginning to lose some range of motion.
He needs a double leg surgery, at the the same time, an orthopedic surgeon would fix his torn ACLs.
Can you please help us make it happen? It is very costly and recovery time is long but we need to do everything in our power to get this handsome boy healthy and pain free.

This is Nala, a very sweet male cat who has had a severe and painful urinary blockage that was life-threatening. After several veterinary visits at different vets, and overnight stays, his bill is around $1,200 and we are doing everything we can to help. If any of our kind supporters would like to donate towards this medical situation we are supporting we would be extremely grateful. It is expected that he will make a full recovery. Donations can be made at our PayPal at the following link:
