November is “National Pet Diabetes Month”. Our receptionist Katie had a dog named Wilbur who was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age, but that didn’t stop him from playing with his frizbees, chewing on bones, and loving his favorite toys. Some common signs of diabetes include:
Excessive water drinking,
Increased urination,
Weight loss,
Cloudy eyes,
and Chronic or recurring infections.
The way the doctors determine if a pet is diagnosed with diabetes is through a blood test and urine sample. If you have any questions please contact us! 🤍
