14 yrs old, Connecticut. Needs home immediately. Has never lived with another dog and at his age and losing his family and his home, now’s not the time to put him into an unfamiliar situation. Elderly dogs are so much harder to find homes for, everyone wants the puppy or young dogs. But this sweet sweet old boy Migo is one of my newest friends thanks to his wonderful new mom for saving him. Unfortunately Migo would’ve been put down if he got sent to a shelter when his original mom ended up in a nursing home. It’s too often we see situations like this for many elderly dogs whose owners either pass away or they get too old to care for them and the dog has no where to go, this is your sign to rescue an old dog if you have the chance. Migo is so thankful and loved by his new family but it’s heartbreaking to see him nervous still trying to get comfortable with me his new dog sitter and in his new life adjusting to these changes.
