Camera dump of some of my favorite Rosie pics. Rosie and her sis were brought to the farmers market one day by some lil' boys who found them on the ground. Eyes still closed, clearly starving, loaded with fleas, and Rosie had been attacked by something. I rushed them home immediately and prepared a hydrating solution and some special formula i had. They guzzled it down. I also cleaned Rosie's wounds and gave them both a warm flea bath.
The next morning, Rosie had a big seizure and I thought she was a goner. I spent 3 days in my bed with her making sure she ate enough and stayed super warm, feeding her small portions every 30 mins, with special vitamins. She recovered, but she continued to have random seizures.
Her sis THRIVED and is now living her best squirrel life, at the Farm where she'll have a lifetime of fresh nuts, fruits, etc. She still visits us daily and her wild friends are starting to see where she gets all the highly desired nuts from!
Rosie also got the chance to be wild, but it was clear she did NOT do well outside. We built her a giant outdoor home that she spent her days in. She even got daily visits and play time with her sister. We brought her inside every night and she refused to sleep anywhere other than in our bed, nuzzled up against me.
About Rosie: she and I were TIGHT. She loved to play, and every morning she'd wake us up, play with us, and then run downstairs to my office where she'd wait in the doorway for me to come to work. She'd play/eat her buffet f veg, and crawl into my lap for a nap and cuddles.
On her last night, she slept on my pillow, hands both touching my face, with her tail wrapped around myface. ILL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT❤️
*cry break*
The next morning was market day, I could tell she was "off" so I brought hwr w/me in her favorite pouch. As the market started, she had a seizure. I ran into the bathroom and she passed in my hands as I kissed her and told her how loved she is. Then I had to suck it up and put on my "market manager" face. Brutal.
*cry break*
Man, I loved that damn squirrel.
3 days later I get the shingles. Dr.asks "Any emotional trauma lately?"

I miss that lil' cheeseburger.
