These two sweet girls get routine subcutaneous fluids (recommend and prescribed by their veterinarian) once and twice weekly for their chronic kidney disease (CKD).
I offer the service to go to their homes to administer the fluids for their owners so they don't have to stress their pets out with frequent weekly trips to the veterinarian. If you have a pet that requires a similar treatment and you aren't comfortable with giving the fluids on your own at home, then I would be happy to help! Call 603-394-3114 to set up an appt.

🔥 Hot Asphalt Alert: Protect Your Pet’s Paws! 🔥

Did you know that asphalt can get extremely hot in the summer and burn your pet's paws?

Here's how to protect them:

🔥 Test the pavement with the back of your hand. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pet.
🚶 Walk your pets on grass or shaded areas whenever possible.
👢 Consider protective booties for their paws during walks.
⛅ Walk your pets early in the morning or late in the evening when the ground is cooler.
🐾 Let's keep those paws safe and comfortable this summer! 🐾

Warm weather and increased rainfall are breeding grounds for more than just flowers...

Leptospirosis is a life-threatening disease that can infect dogs that come into contact with contaminated water/soil or wildlife urine. Keep dogs away from standing water and be sure they're vaccinated against the disease.

Ticks and mosquitos are emerging as temperatures rise. Check for ticks before coming inside and be sure your pet is up-to-date on flea/tick and heartworm preventive to keep them healthy!

Easter and Mother's Day are two of the most dangerous holidays for cats for one reason: lily poisoning. 💐
