📢 Important Update: Decadent Dogs will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to the incredibly cold weather. ❄️ The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority. We’ll reopen with normal hours on Wednesday, 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM.

In the meantime, here are some tips to keep your furry friends warm and safe in these freezing Michigan temps:
🐾 Limit outdoor time: Stick to quick potty breaks—too much time outside can be harmful.
🐾 Protect their paws: Dog booties or paw balm can shield their paws from frostbite and ice-melting chemicals.
🐾 Layer up: A cozy coat or sweater is great for small or short-haired pups.
🐾 Watch for ice and salt: Wipe your dog’s paws after walks to remove snow, salt, and chemicals.
🐾 Hydration is key: Fresh water helps prevent dehydration, even in winter.
🐾 Stay active indoors: Play fetch, tug-of-war, or use snuffle mats to keep your pup entertained.

Our challenge for you today is to tag someone you know in the comments on this post to help us spread the word to a larger audience AND/OR make a contribution in the amount of $7 today, which will then be matched, dollar for dollar, and turn into $14 (which is ironic because we only have 14 DAYS before our Deadline of Feb.1st…)

Today is the LAST day of the $10k Donation Match! Since Friday, $5,200 has been donated (Woo-Hoo! 🎉), but this means that we still have $4,800 to go in order to take advantage of the full $10k donation match! This is the last day that donations will be doubled!

🐾If you are new here, or being tagged in this post, here is the short version of our backstory-
We are a 501c3 Nonprofit Animal Rescue located in Fennville Michigan who has been renting our facility since 2019. After 5+ years of us renting our facility, the property owner now wishes to sell the property, leaving us with only two options… purchase it or move. Moving is not an option logically for our rescue, with 50+ rescue animal in our care that would have no where to go, and Obtaining a loan as a nonprofit has proven to be essentially impossible. So we are left with the only option being to fundraise $100k, and work out a purchase agreement with the property owner. But the deadline is February 1st to do so. 🐾
