We successfully moved to our new building this weekend! For all appointments from now on, please come to 701 N Main (2 buildings south of the old clinic).

We look forward to seeing you and helping your pets in our new facility!

Reminder: PVVH will be closed for routine appointments tomorrow and Saturday (7/19 and 7/20). We will still be open for prescription and food pick up as well as emergencies.

Safety is a priority today for our employees and clients. Due to multiple road closures and inclement weather, we will be emergency service only today. If you have a pet staying at the hospital or scheduled for surgery, they will not be overlooked as our Doctors will be present to manage cases and ensure proper care.

Please be safe driving today! The conditions of the roads are fairly bad. If you are running late or have to reschedule, we understand. We are fully booked today for routine visits but there are available appointment slots for next week. The safety of you and your pets are the priority.

Just in time for Christmas…

Santa has reported that Miss Kiki made the nice list this year.
Kiki is our longest kitty resident here at HAS, she has been in our care over 60 days and would love to be home for the holidays.
Kiki came to us as a sweet but lost pet stray, she had a bad injury to her eye, but the shelter with the vets at Prairie Vista Veterinary Hospital have treated it. Now her eye has perminant scaring that cuases only a tiny bit of vision imparment but it does not bother her or slow her down at all.
She enjoys gazing out the window, she loves wand toy play and she has gotten along well with other kitties in our care.
If you would like to add a new furry family member, please reach out to the shelter.
She is fully vaccinated and spayed.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We have much to be thankful for at Prairie Vista Veterinary Hospital- good clients, employees, friends, family, and a community that make the work we do worthwhile!
We are currently remodeling the veterinary building at 701 N Main in South Hutchinson (just 2 buildings south of our current location). It will greatly increase our space for servicing all of the mixed animals we see. We hope to move into the building by spring, but have a great deal of remodeling and prep work before that. It will replace our current building, and increase many efficiencies and animal comfort.

We are are so happy we could be apart of this great teaching opportunity! Every year we help coordinate with our clients and Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine to help ensure cows that are close to calving are at the birthing center. We are also on call in case there is a difficult birth or if one of the calves isn't feeling well. Thank you to every one that stopped by and took a look at these critters! Hopefully you were even able to see one calve!

We want to give a special THANK YOU to our friends at Prairie Vista Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Dayul Dick (KSU CVM class of ‘87) and Dr. Patrick Schmitz (KSU CVM class of ‘20)! Without them we would not be able to put the Kansas State Fair birthing center. Not only do they source our dairy cows for us to calve during the fair, but are available for any emergencies we have like calf pulls, c-sections, and sick calves! We look forward to working with you guys every year!
