Corral update: catching ponies this week. Heading into our 90th season! We were hoping to open 5/4/24 however Mother Nature is throwing us a curveball with rain , snow and 50 plus mph wind so we are planning a soft opening for the season-Sunday 5/5/24 , 11am-2 pm weather permitting. Happy Fall Y’all it’s beautiful in Tahoe. Amazing time to go for an autumn horseback ride in the Tahoe National Forest. We are open 10 am -4 pm Tuesday thru Sunday weather permitting.

August is here and once again we expect a busy Tahoe weekend. Remember trash/debris left behind is harmful to wildlife and degrades Lake Tahoe. Bring a trash bag in case trash cans/dumpsters are full or not available. Be part of the solution PACK OUT YOUR OWN TRASH!

Great News!! The snow is melting and we have been working diligently to get back open. The Corral will start back the 2023 season this Friday , May 19th. 10-2 pm. Weekend hours will be 10 am -3 pm. We still have a lot of snow out in the forest , limited days and operating hours to accommodate continued trail maintenance. We will be offering our Trail Ride ( 50-55 min. ) and Pony Rides. However Our 2 Hour Extended ride will not be available for several more weeks due to rapid snow melt and flooding.

Spring Update from the Corral - We are so excited to see the sun and warm days in our future. However after receiving over 600 inches of Snow this winter we will have to be a bit patient on posting our opening date just yet. Longer days ahead will speed up snowmelt & help us assess trail maintenance etc to get back open for beautiful spring time Horseback-riding in Lake Tahoe. Until then our horses are enjoying a longer winter vacay …. Stay tuned for opening day updates. We will begin taking reservations once we are able to open. 🐴💚
