I thought this was a really nice respectful way of putting out there the love and dedication we put into these animals and why the cost is a premium. 💕
Why Is Goat Milk More Expensive?
Goat milk is a labor of love, and every drop is hard-earned. Unlike cows, which can produce 4 gallons of milk per day per cow, our Nubian goats give us only about half a gallon or less per milking. With a small herd, we collect just 5 gallons a day—a fraction of what a dairy cow operation produces.
Raising dairy goats is a hands-on, daily commitment. We provide them with high-quality feed, ensure their health and comfort, and milk them twice a day—all for a much smaller yield than cows. This makes goat milk rarer and more valuable.
When you buy our fresh goat milk, you’re not just getting a delicious and nutritious product—you’re supporting a small farm, sustainable practices, and the dedication it takes to bring this milk to your table. We appreciate your support!
