We had the opportunity to visit Micheal in Chicago. He was deployed for a short trip right after Thanksgiving until yesterday. So grateful he is home. Really enjoyed spending Asher‘s birthday and Christmas in the Windy City!! 🏙️

Sometimes when things are happening in our personal life, it’s not the right decision to say anything until it’s over ☺️
The Cochenour Family is incredibly excited to welcome home Micheal after a six week deployment. Michael left the day after Thanksgiving and we just welcomed him home yesterday! We did have an amazing ability to visit him in Chicago and I’m so grateful we took that opportunity. As a Farm family, we don’t get to do that very often.

Losing animals on the farm never gets easier. Hawkeye has been an influential part of our breeding program and our family for almost 6 years. He will be missed greatly. We made the hard decision to let him go peacefully before his age and body condition got worse with a Michigan winter. Hawkeye was 10 years old and in goat years that is quite an old man.
We will miss you, but I know you’re in a better place . 💕
