Based in South Lyon, Michigan. Feral Kitty Trappers TNR & Rescue helps feral cat caregivers with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). They receive a wellness check, spay/neuter, RV, FVRCP, Revolution and an ear tip. Any cat/kitten who is able to be socialized will go to a foster home. Each cat/kitten will be spayed/neutered, bl

oodwork and combo testing will be done. They also receive their RV, FVRCP shots and are microchipped.

They sat in foster care for months with ZERO interest 😢

Update from Karen at the vet

“So they're gonna do x-rays they just looked at him. They sedated him. He's got a big laceration on his belly. Nothing's hanging out his leg is gonna have to be amputated, but it all depends on how much tissue he has if they have enough to cover everything this poor cat.”

Update 2

“They don't really know, but she feels that we the leg is broke. It already started to heal so this has been like this awhile, but she said give him four weeks to see if he walks so we will be hanging onto him for four weeks. She's gonna take care of his belly take care of that open wound there and not remove the leg and they are taking pictures.”

Update 3

I added picture. Most likely this cat was attacked by something outside.
He’s been stitched up and he is on his way home to sit in a crate and rest
Drain tube comes out on Tuesday

The feral cat crisis is out of control — and our small group of volunteers are doing everything we can.

We’re exhausted. Funds are LOW. Volunteers are few. Friendly cats are struggling to survive outdoors because humans failed them. 💔

They deserve better — and we can’t do it alone.

Cheddar needs your help -

Cheddar showed up crying in the cold back in March — and when his new mom opened the door, he walked right into her heart. ❤️

At a vet visit, they found a tumor on his lip. Surgery was estimated at $2,000, which she couldn’t afford on her limited income. When FKT came through the neighborhood for TNR, a kind neighbor reached out — and we knew we had to help.

Cheddar had surgery to remove the tumor and two bad teeth! 🩺 He’s recovering well, and we’re hopeful the biopsy will bring good news.

We’re now trying to raise $500 to cover his medical care so we can keep helping cats like him.
