They receive a wellness check, spay/neuter, RV, FVRCP, Revolution and an ear tip. Any cat/kitten who is able to be socialized will go to a foster home. Each cat/kitten will be spayed/neutered, bl

We hate asking, trust us we do, but we cannot help these babies without your love and generosity ❤️

We are almost out of Fancy Feast wet kitten food and with Amazon not having the 24 packs in stock we are begging for 24 pack of single flavors, chicken and turkey are most loved. Chewy also has the mixed 24 packs still at normal price.

Tiki kitten wet cat food is also still needed. We use as a topper on the Fancy Feast kitten food. The kitties absolutely love it 🥰

P*e pads, FortaFlora Probiotics and Cat litter are mostly needed as well. Pics are posted. 🙏🏻

We are asking our supporters to show up for us again!!

We recently assisted an elderly lady and her grandson in White Lake with a handful of adult cats. There were 12 adult cats and 10 kittens in the home. They all needed medical attention and the adult cats needed spay and neuter.

This was a collaborative effort - 10 kittens, 3 adult cats, and 1 pregnant cat to rescue, and networked with another rescue to rehome 4 additional cats!! $595 was the total cost of their care.

Meet Han Solo! This little nugget was rescued on May the 4th (be with you), so of course we had to give him a Star Wars name! 💥

He is doing amazing in his foster home and will be ready for adoption in about a month. He is good with kitties and seems ok with dogs so far! He loves to 🥰 cuddle.

(He isn’t ready for meet and greet yet, but will be in early June).

We are at a loss for words!!!

FKT needs help

We closed intake due to funding!!! It sucks, big time!!!

TNR is a must and we help people all the time. Sometimes we help people who say they will repay, even $25 a week, but in this case FKT helped a person diagnose their ill cat, they went to our vet and the vet/staff did everything they could to help, however the kitty was riddled with cancer. Kitty was very sick and racked up a heavy vet bill, along with a necropsy and cremation of $350. All the vetting came to $1400 so a total of $1750 FKT is out.
FKT covered the whole bill and the person who reached out for help is ghosting us now 😞

We have our kittens scheduled for surgeries and we cannot cover the whole bill, May/June bill is $2100.
The funds FKT used were for the kittens surgeries and we are panicking. Intake is now closed and we are turning kittens away on our own TNR requests. We are heartbroken.

With this unexpected and very upsetting situation, FKT will not be able to offer future help to those in dire need. As you know, we are donation based, and when someone misleads us, it hurts not just the cats we are currently helping, but future efforts as well. If we receive donations to help in this situation, we won’t need to stop our efforts. Unfortunately we just aren’t able to continue without some help.

Hello everyone. Karen here
I’ve been quite busy doing transport for the folks that trap for me.
I go to Warren & Flint - All About Animals and Holly - Pawsitive Care. We have such a high demand we cannot keep up. Humane Society of Huron Valley finally opened up their program after 2 years but on a very limited basis
Trapping is not easy, you hope the cats will be there and the caregivers don’t feed. (Not always the case) We get cats, Juvee’s, injured cats. This past weekend I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings trying to retrap a cat that needs a dental, she was trapped last fall but I had nowhere to take her as the clinic I use for dentals was under renovation in a new building. Spent 50 min one way to try to get her. Then spent 4 41/2 hours each evening.
Friday I trapped the daddy maker, he had disappeared last fall. (He’s getting his makeover today)
Saturday was a bust as neighbors were cutting grass for 3 1/2 hours - yes it makes a difference.
Yesterday I arrived about 4:30 set the traps, set up drop trap and then sat and waited. Went to refresh traps about 7:30 and dental kitty in back under a tree. I refreshed droptrap bowls. To previous kitties one ate some of the food. And then they left. Then, when I saw the fluffy cat that I needed, she took off towards the field the tree line, mind you there on an acre.
I hurried up and refresh the Drop Trap again and then went and sat in my car about an hour later I looked at the Drop Trap and there was a cat out there and it was a cat that I wanted and she kept circling and circling she did not wanna go under it Took her a full five minutes which seemed like eons to go under the drop top so I had to pull a string so it was tight, but I had to do it slow cause she would stop and look around finally when it was tight and she settled down to eat bam I got her Then I had to get her into a trap from the Drop Trap
Mind you over 12 hours to get this cat in three different days you have to have the patience to do this. There’s people that say ohTrappng is easy while if it’s that easy then you go out and do it.
So after I got her and got my car loaded back up with all the traps that I took out there my Drop Trap I arrived home at 9: 45. Had to get her set up with p*e pads in the trap feed the other cat that’s in a crate that needs a dental so by the time everything was done and paperwork filled out it was a long day. I got to bed at 11:30.

If you can help with her dental and help with our TNR cats, it’s much appreciated
