A little Jorden update.

He’s doing very well overall, but now that he’s feeling better his “semi-feral” side is showing. We are working with him, pray he will find a home who understands him when he’s ready.
Jorden got a new tower today, he’s doing very well at climbing and balancing. He’s walking with his spine arched and legs straight.

Just a little update on Karen…

She is very sick, can barely move. Don’t think it’s Covid but she’s down until the week of 2/17/2025. Please respect her time to heal. If you have questions/concerns please send FKT a PM. One of us will try to answer. Please do not text Karen during this time as she needs time to rest and regroup.

TNR has been cut short past few months due to weather. We do this for the cats as it is not safe to put a shaved kitty back outside in the cold. These fortunate kitties have warm shelter to heal and recover.
Here are a few of the kitties who will not be contributing to the over populated cat crisis. Please spay and neuter your pets, it really is the only way to help control the pet population.

She’s doing amazing!! She’s on day 50/84 and she’s full of s***k.

Update on Jorden….
He must be confined unfortunately for awhile due to his issues. We did get the f***l PCR test back and it came with bad news.
Jorden was also diagnosed with Cryptosporidium and Demodex Mites(mange)

He’s doing pretty well overall

Day 13/84 GS Meds for Neuro FIP
Day 13/28 Clindamycin for Toxoplasmosis
Day 3/14 Zithromax for Cryptosporidium
And we just received his dose of Bravecto, we normally don’t keep on hand and had to order, for Demodex.

To say Jorden has been dealt a crappy hand is putting it mildly. He has an appointment next Wednesday at Mitten for more labs and a skin scrape to make sure he doesn’t have anything else.

To win the love of a feral cat is priceless.

Tank lives in the neighborhood of one of our volunteers. After getting threatened by a neighbor last year, Tank showed up on the front porch, looking for help. He went through TNR and was treated for a severe face wound. He went back into the community after treatment.

Since TNR, he has become more social with his caretakers and less temperamental. He has developed great trust, allowing pets and even to be picked up!

With this tremendous cold, he has been brought inside and has been enjoying himself! He surely is grateful to sleep in a warm dry place with both eyes shut 💕

Unfortunately, Tank has another puncture wound. His caretaker/FKT volunteer took him to the vet to have him treated so he will be good as new in a few days. The vet said he was a very good boy! $165 well spent. His caretaker will work to get him into a better living situation!

Tank is a perfect example of why TNR is so important. It costs nothing compassionate toward animals.

Update on Loyal 🖤🐈‍⬛

Our specialist appointment in 2/6/2025 at 1230. Cannot wait for this appointment but not feeding them (Fynn and Loyal) for 12 hours is going to be rough 😬

He’s doing very well overall, we’ve finally settled into a routine on feedings. He does still eat dry food but fortunately he’s been able to keep it down.

We’re down to puking once or twice a week so that’s a bonus and with the mostly liquid diet we went through the diarrhea phase and has past that 🤞

He’s a very special boy and I would love to find him an adopter who is willing to help him anyway they can. One who will love and accept him for who he is!!!
