Waterloo wouldn’t be Waterloo without some rain… but this certainly didn’t spoil our fun and didn’t hold anyone back to ride to the best of their abilities! Some of us went out of their comfort zone moving up a level, and did great. Others had their personal best, earning some monster scores! All and all everyone grew as a rider this weekend and besides that we just had tons of fun doing it! Love this group of people and their wonderful horses 💕🦄

Another show weekend has come and gone, and it was a success! I am grateful to work with such a talented group of students and horses. Everyone gave their all and demonstrated significant improvement, which did not go unnoticed by the judges. The sense of unity and encouragement within our group, as well as toward other competitors, is something I cherish! Congratulations to all on their accomplishments! Personally, I could not be happier with the performance of Kenzo and my own horse. Although there were a few errors (which I take full responsibility for), they remained focused throughout the entire weekend.
And a special thank you to Danae for her wonderful grooming and her “magic” touch, Lago, Kenzo and I love you! I also would like to thank Kevin and the entire horse show office crew for all their efforts in providing us with a great show facility!

Home from another great Waterloo weekend. Lots of first experiences and new levels. As a trainer/coach all I wish for is my students to have fun and feel they are competent and successful. I think I can honestly say we achieved this goal this show. I couldn’t wish for a more dedicated and hard working group, they don’t only appreciate the wins but also cope with the disappointments like champs and see them as a leaning experience.
We missed a few of our “family members” and they were surely missed. But hoping they will be there in July!
And the icing on the cake of course is always the camaraderie, not only amongst each other but also with our northern friends/ extended family from Maple Ridge.
And a huge shout out to Joop de Jong for all the wonderful horses you have put in our lives, you were very well represented this show (Gadget, Finn, Simply the Best, Nairobi, Pip, Lexus, Fjurie, Norman, Dior, Kenzo and Ocean).

Region 2 championships exceeded all my expectations, a perfect show with a perfect team!
As a trainer I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. All team members rode their hearts out and placed in one or more of their championship classes and I just love our horses, they all have their quirks and personalities but that’s what makes them great!
Lamplight was beautiful as always!
Congratulations to all who made it to regionals and to those who are going on to finals.
Special thank you to Danae for making our horses look beautiful, Our farriers and vets and saddle fitters and Aprile horse transportation to get our horses safely to Lamplight and back home! And to Samantha, Kirill and Nancy for creating some wonderful freestyles.
Of course none of this would have been possible without the great support of our home team!!!
