Mr. Clean's biopsy reveals intestinal lymphoma. The cancer is compounded by Mr. Clean's FIV+ status that is inhibiting proper blood cell production in his bone marrow. This is where Smokey Acres' service is most critical. We'll provide Mr. Clean palliative care for a peaceful end-of-life. We feel deeply committed to our role in allowing this former street-cat to transition to a new form of being. His journey is taking him to another place where all our former residents await his arrival.

Exotic Bird Lover Alert - Smokey Acres received an urgent call this morning regarding 1 pineapple and 2 red bellied conures. Owner purchased before he knew that he is allergic and needs placement asap. Please feel free to share this post with responsible bird owners in your life. Adoption will come with modest price to include all cages and supplies to ensure good home w/ funds for future veterinary needs. Rescue transfer would be considered as well.
