We are exhausted from a day working in the hot sun but, so excited for our cats. We have 2 more enclosures for daily outdoor time. This reduces stress for a few of our cats that just love the country views and breezes. Happy day for Shurik and Tessa!

We let Tina go last night. Her little body decided it was time. Tina, aka "Frippit," was just like Forrest Gump. She was always running! Many thanks to Jill Scapelliti and the ladies at Feral Kitty Trappers TNR & Rescue for ensuring Tina had a chance to live.

Beth Update: She is doing well. Still on antibiotics for the pneumonia but, eating and pooping like a champ! Here is Beth standing proudly next to her morning gift. Cat people will 100% "get" how important healthy stool can be!

Beth ate plenty overnight and seems pretty bright. We've got urine. Once we get stool, she can rejoin her community.

Good news on Beth! She is off of oxygen and eating. We'll pick her up this afternoon so, yippee! We are certainly going to need more veterinary follow up but, we are out of immediate danger for now. These FeLV kitties are a complicated bunch!

Happy Friday to our followers - We have an ask.

Our newest resident, Beth, is being admitted to Blue Pearl in Southfield for supportive care due to pneumonia and a possible gastric obstruction. We want to give her a chance to improve before we consider euthanasia. Incurred cost is $1204.42 plus, we are depositing an additional $5000 for the next 2 days of inpatient care. If you have ever considered donating to our little 100% volunteer-based sanctuary, now is a great time.

We'll know more by midday tomorrow about outcome for our poor little Beth. We'll post photos as soon as we can!
