Sport Puppy Agility is on our calendar! Starts August 1, at 5 pm. Limited spots available. To register, go to our website at SPDTC.com under Training then Agility. Your registration is confirmed once payment is made at the time of registration. Class is limited to 6 puppies.

Puppies must be at least 12 weeks and vaccinations are required.

If you have a puppy ready to start its earliest training towards an agility career this class is for you.

Friday
AM: Young Dog - Only Jumps & Tunnels will be used in this session. Dogs do not need to be jumping full height, but should be able to sequence 3-5 obstacles.
PM:. Transitions (collection/Extension)- Do you struggle with getting your dog to turn? In this session we will work on how to go from extension to collection. (weaves will not be used)

Saturday
AM: Excellent/Master Handling- For teams wanting to improve their handling on Excellent / Master AKC style courses. (Weaves may be used so dogs should be proficient at them.)
PM: So Many Crosses- wanting to perfect a cross you struggle with? Or perhaps you would like a better understanding which cross works better where? (weaves will not be used)

Sunday
AM: Connection & Timing- do you lose your dog to off course obstacles? Or pull them off of the correct obstacle? This session will work on the role of connection and timing plays in helping your dog understand the desired line. (Weaves may be used so dogs should be proficient at them.)
PM: International/Premier Handling- looking for a challenge? Wanting to polish your moves on some tricky courses? This session will include backsides and threadle options as well as tricky lines. (Weaves may be used so dogs should be proficient at them.)

From Kristi - Yesterday was Splashy’s first AKC agility trial, and brother Hydro came along to show her how it’s done. Both were entered in novice standard and jumpers preferred and Q’d all runs! I’m happy with how far Splash has come with coaching from Amanda and Michele at SPDTC 👍 The spring photo booth provided a fun end to a great day of agility 🦋 Thank you to Camay for providing agility opportunities!
