Paul Animal Hospital we intake and house many impounds and lost pets on a daily basis. Many of these animals are not claimed by their previous owners, and when this happens we try to find those animals new, good homes! On this site we will post animals that are currently available for adoption! We do not charge an adoption fee, however if an animal is adopted from our facility, we require the anim

al to be vaccinated and recommend that they be spayed or neutered if the animal is currently intact. We will grant a one time 20% discount on these services! We are also an actively practicing clinic, offering many services to aide in the health care for your beloved pet! Not to be forgotten, many common and much needed surgeries most clinics refer out for, providing them to you at a lower cost!! Our Story

South St. Paul Animal impound is dedicated to helping lost pets from specific city’s in the metropolitan area, find their homes. The cities we work with include South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, West St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Newport, and St. Paul Park.

Our primary mission is to return lost pets to their family. Occasionally, some pets are not claimed. It is our secondary mission to place these unclaimed pets into loving homes. We work with a number of individuals and rescue organizations who assist us in this process. Lost animals are posted on our page to assist with identification. Interested rescuers may inquire about these pets any time. However, the pets may not be available for adoption until the sixth day of holding or until any claims by the owners have been exhausted.

If there is an animal you are interested in that goes to rescue, please private message us for details on which rescue to apply for adoption. As well as being the local impound, we are also a practicing clinic and hospital. We offer many services to aide in the health care for your beloved pet! Not to be forgotten, many common and much needed surgeries most clinics refer out for, providing them to you at a lower cost!! For example, MLP, amputation & many others!
