We are still here! God opened doors so we are following. We couldn't say goodbye to these little chubs after all, & we're so thankful!
More to come...as we continue to raise these beautiful, french, fur babies!

This can be easy to overlook as we travel around with our footwear protecting us. But what about your frenchie's tootsies? Temperature of sand could be added to this.

Hoggle is joining us for a few errands this afternoon and healing well! He still has the shaved areas on his little legs and back, but he's been able to go without his pain medication for a few days. We are so happy he is feeling better!

Hoggle is home from his tailpocket revision surgery. After filling his little tummy with his favorite treats, he is peacefully napping. Dr. Coolman did a great job!

Hoggle is currently at NIVES (a specialist veterinary hospital) recovering from a tail pocket revision surgery. We are hopeful this will bring him relief from pain, infections, and add years to his precious life. Still, tonight it is a little too quiet without his snores.

Wishing Hoggle, the one who started it all for us, a very happy 5th birthday today!!
Here are some of Hoggle's favorites & dislikes at age five (& we already know some of these are not healthy/recommended, but he is set in his ways):
Favorite foods: grilled meat, usually steak/chicken--especially if Dad hand feeds it to him; salted caramels with chocolate that mom cuts/bites off for him, nutter butter cookies, beef jerky
Favorite treats: things with peanut butter or chocolate (and yes, we have to watch out for this!) He once ate an entire bag of Dove dark chocolate with the wrappers and all and we were at KNIVES in FW getting his stomach pumped--very scary and we are so thankful he lived! If he can find chocolate he will eat it.
Favorite pastime: "chubtime"...he loves to lay on a soft blanket on top of mom's lap and flip or "trustfall" onto his back with his belly up toward the ceiling, then you must pet his chest and tummy until he is pleased or in such a deep slumber he doesn't notice you have stopped
Other favorite pastime: Watching the neighborhood action from his window...he loves especially if it is nice weather and the window can be opened slightly so he can sniff the breeze
Favorite Transportation: Dad's truck console...he rides on the console of Dad's truck on top of a blanket and crate mat. He loves to control the driving and have access to both Mom and Dad from this spot.
Dislikes: Getting his wrinkles cleaned, taking any type of medication (he can sense it with his amazing lips/tongue in any substance!), being told 'no' or left at home when we leave, going outside for any purpose in the rain or snow, stepping in water or mud, other dogs, anything taking attention away from him, bathing/showers, heat, insects, plain dog food

Hoggle is nearly 5 years old, and looking quite handsome in his adulthood. He's our first and most popular French bulldog boy. We adore him!

Scout is nearly 1 year old, and she loves to play and cuddle! She's extremely smart, so getting her to wear this little hat and pose took some treats! We know she's going to be a wonderful momma some day when she's old enough! She's adorable and very intuitive about everything. We love her personality!

We absolutely love sharing updates on puppies in their loving homes! This is one of the adorable French bulldog puppies from our last litter (born 3-28-22). The picture shows him at approximately 8 months. He was last to be adopted but full of cuteness and personality! Check out his gorgeous black coat! They named him Vader, and we think his name fits perfectly.

Eustace & Scout are just relaxing the evening away! It is hard to believe they are nearly 8 months old. And Hoggle, the old man of the group at 4 years old, is snoozing away too. We are blessed with a home full of snoring frenchies.

This is Morty, one of our most special french bulldog babies, from our March 2022 litter. Morty's human mommy was kind enough to share a photo of him with us today. He had a little ouchy happen to his knee, but we hear he is feeling much better now after a little procedure with his vet. We love knowing our puppies get to be loved by wonderful families who care for them so well. ❤️

We've been reflecting on a special visitor we had about 3 weeks ago. This is the unforgettable Brutus, who stole our hearts when he was born in our 1st litter. We were so blessed to have a repeat visit from Brutus and his wonderful family! He's cuter than ever and he is such a well-loved boy. Come back & see us again soon!

Fall weather means more time to play and sniff around outside and cuddle time with soft blankets in the evenings. Life with frenchies is the best life!

Hoggle is feeling much better since his disc herniation surgery almost 2 weeks ago. His little brother and sister (Scout and Eustace) can't wait to play with him when he's healed up completely. We are keeping them all warm & happy in this cool, fall weather.

People often ask why we don't breed Hoggle. After all, he IS adorable and pretty perfect! Hoggle struggles with IVDD. Recently he's been having a hard time. This means he is in pain because a disc in his spine is causing a problem. We love our fur babies so much that this type of thing is very difficult. We recommend getting pet insurance right away for any new puppy. You never know what may happen in the future. Secondly, be careful with your frenchie. Don't let them jump on and off furniture or play tug of war, even though they love it! We've learned the hard way with our boy. We will update Hoggle's condition when we have new information. Prayers for healing are appreciated.
