I get a lot of Questions, "How did you Decide you wanted to get in the Pet industry” What got you to stop making excuses and just go for it?" Here’s the truth—there was no magic moment. In May 2023, I just decided I was done with excuses. No more waiting for January 1st to Get started, no more “next Monday” mindset. I knew if I kept putting it off, I’d be in the same spot, staring in the mirror, wondering why I hadn’t started sooner.

So here’s my response to all of you that ask:
I took one hard look at where I was and where I wanted to be, and I realized it was up to me to make it happen. And since then? It’s paid off in ways I couldn’t have imagined. When you stop letting yourself off the hook, that’s when things change.

I get it, though—I’ve been there, putting it off, telling myself “next week,” “when things calm down,” “when it’s easier.” But life doesn’t slow down for us. It speeds up!

There’s no perfect time to make things happen; you just have to start.

That’s why I’m telling you this today. The best version of yourself starts NOW. Not next month. Not next year. It’s about showing up every day, even on those early mornings, even when it feels like nothing’s changing. The progress is in the grind, in the consistency, and in the commitment.

So if you’re reading this, here’s your reminder—the one I needed in 2023.
Stop waiting. Stop talking. Start doing. One day at a time, in my case (one pet treat at a time)🫶🏻🫶🏻Laura
