About Katie:
Katie grew up in Westchester, NY where she started riding at the age of 5 doing mainly hunters and jumpers. During high school she volunteered for a local therapeutic riding organization, while continuing to work at a local barn to earn saddle and lesson time. While in college, Katie interned with local saddle fitters. Katie has taught lessons, done Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as we

ll as worked for a local vets office. Katie knows first hand the struggles of finding the right fit for both horse and rider after dealing with saddle fit issues of her own, which lead her to becoming a fitter. She believes all horses and riders can benefit from a well fitting saddle, as both the rider and horse will be more comfortable and able to perform better. Qualifications :
B.S in Equine Studies from Post University
Master Saddlers Association trained
