Achnacarry Stables

We are thrilled to announce our new location off of 15-501 in Carthage, offering an exceptional facility for riders of all levels to thrive. Achnacarry Stables provides a comprehensive and supportive environment for both horses and riders. Our features include:

* Dressage Court
* Jump Field
* Round Pen
* On-Site Trails
* 8-Stall Main Barn with a private boarder tack room
* 12x12 Stalls
* Indoor Wash Stall with heat lamps
* Barn Bathroom
* Semi-Private Turnouts in beautifully maintained flat fields
* Rehabilitation Turnout Available

Coming Soon: Bank and Ditch Complexes, and Jump 4 Joy Cross-Country Jumps

Full Care Board - $1200/month

Our standard care includes everything your horse needs to stay healthy and happy:

* Grain 2-3x daily
* Orchard Timothy Hay
* Semi-private turnout
* Alfalfa pellets or beet pulp, electrolytes, and probiotics
* One weekly lesson or training ride

Partial Training Board - $1450/month

Includes all of the above with 3 lessons/training rides weekly.

Full Training Board - $1650/month

Includes all of the above with 5-6 lessons/training rides weekly.

We are currently welcoming new clients and lesson students to join our team starting March 1st! We’re thrilled to announce that Achnacarry Stables is moving to a bigger and better facility, still inside the Moore County area! Starting February 1st, we’ll be settling into our new space—perfect for all your horse training needs. Plus, we’ll have room for new clients!

17 year old, 15.1 hh, registered QH mare. Super safe low level horse! Owner is heading off to college and we’re looking to find miss Emmy her next family. WTC and trail horse deluxe. Same horse to ride if worked three times a week or pulled out after sitting for several months. Rides english and western. If you’re wanting something safe and sweet to walk through the woods with friends or alone or to flat around the field she’s your girl! Emmy would make a great first horse, family horse, or trail horse you can trust your non horsey friends on.

Emmy is currently UTD on shots and coggins. She does require some maintenance in the form of yearly hock injections and front shoes to help with low heel angles. 6️⃣k, located in Southern Pines, NC.

Australia ✨ lovely Arabian that came for training last summer. Australia had some problems adjusting to new situations in a safe manner. After a few weeks of learning how to relax in easier environments we started adding in obstacle courses. At the end of a week he could safely go over plastic bottles, tin, tarps, bridges, and go through pool noodles. Sometimes you have to bring the show horse out of the arena to help them become champions 💛 #arabian #dressage #horsetraining

Nothing like trail rides with your sister. The girls enjoyed getting out of the arena for their lesson and hitting the trails together

Maverick had a nice jump school this past week 👏🏻 This dreamy dude is looking for his next rider! 10 yr old, 16hh, grade appendix gelding with the smoothest gaits and a lovely jump. 10/10 personality and has been a gentleman to bring back from his winter break.
