Is currently in a full time, professional training program.

W/T/C under saddle and has been introduced to small fences and pole work.

Was broke out western and does some neck reining.

All around type that could go in literally any direction. Uphill build with a thick neck. Smooth gaits. Great attitude. Sweet and cuddly on the ground.

Has been used in a few test lessons with an 8 year old and a couple of adult ammys.

🎉Looking to hire for some evening and weekend help🎉

Salary based pay with opportunities to earn bonuses.

Our barn thrives on efficiency and we have continued to upgrade our methods and tools to help our workers sail through tasks as quickly as possible.

Chores include, but are not limited to:
-Stalls (Pitch into a spreader and tractor, no wheelbarrows!)
-Handling horses for turnout/turn in
-Moving bagged shavings
-Throwing hay from square bales stored on ground level
-Blowing out the barns with electric blowers
-Cleaning and refilling buckets/troughs (indoor wash stall with hot water and heated laundry room - no frozen hoses!)
-Cleaning run in sheds
-Feeding pasture boarded horses from our bucket system

Normal start time for morning shifts is 6:30am (sometimes earlier or later pending schedule and weather)

Normal start time for evening shifts is 4:30pm (pending weather and light conditions)

Extra activities run between morning shifts and evening shifts

Ideally looking for people within 25 minutes of the farm in Bloomfield, NY.

Must have transportation.

Must have a cell phone with texting/messenger communication as we use Facebook groups to communicate with all our workers.

Must have horse experience. Will consider well qualified teens.
