These kids had a great Halloween show both earning year end champions in their respective age group equitation divisions. Mabel made her horse debut on Gloria Verte who was such a good girl for her while Evie stayed consistent earning top ribbons on her small SCF Novelty. Coquito and Ashley also had a consistent showing in the Perormance division and Nancy with Once a Prince were able to get some good schooling in to practice for the next show season!

Great weather and fun at Tryon last week. Some highlights were Evie Baker getting a clean sweep over fences between her small SCF Novelty and medium Rosmels StormTrooper in the sm/med pony hunter division! SCF novelty took home the champion qualifying for Pony Finals 2025. Pinot Noir and Coquito had good showings in the green hunters including a win over fences for Coquito and an 8th in the National Hunter Derby.

Available to be tried at Tryon 4 this week! Rosmels stormtrooper- 9yr old gelding. Went to pony finals this year and marched around the medium pony hunters with first timer 9yr old rider. Great first pony type. Super quiet, safe and honest to jumps. No prep ever needed. Walk trot-division! Mid five to keep, will consider lease to right situation! Video available.

Catch up on some horse shows! Sedgefield sept show and NCHJA c finals.
Nancy and Once a Prince took Champion in the long stirrup! Ashley and Coquito were champion in the Performance hunters and second in the derby while Gloria verte ended up 4th in the derby.
Mabel and Evie Baker with their ponies earned some top ribbons at NCHJA C finals!

We had a nice time at the Sept Sedgefield A show. Susan Gaines Pinot Noir was champion in the 3’3 Green hunters, Evie and SCF Novelty were reserve champion in the sm/med greens and Mabel with Patent Pending got some nice Large pony hunter ribbons, won the usef pony medal and were third in the pony derby!

Who is looking for a great small pony hunter? Currently leading zone 3 small greens with limited showing and a 9 yr old rider! Reasonably priced, good home a must!

Newt is a super small pony hunter that just took his first trip to Pony Finals with a first timer 9 yr old. He packed her around the over fences and ended up in the top 30 overall! 2024 Pony Finals pictures are in! We had such a great time with these three ponies. Some highlights were SCF Novelty with Evie Baker being 29th overall in the small greens, Mabel Baker and Patent Pending were 37th in the over fences out of 143 ponies and Evie and Rosmels Stromtrooper were 43rd in the model out of around 145 ponies. Fun first Pony finals for these girls!

Calvin is not your typical OTTB at all and he comes with references- from littles doing ground poles to professionals doing the 3ft hunters & derbies, and everything in the middle.
He is very quiet, easy to find the jumps on and has a good lead change.
The last three years of showing at the Carolina horse park he has been year end champion in the hunters from 2’6- 3ft divisions. He was also year end reserve champion in the long stirrup with his previous lease kid. He filled in last minute for an itty bitty kid to do the walk trot ground poles. Very safe!
Calvin will stand for hours - ground tied with no halter while you groom and get ready. He LOVES being groomed and pampered.
Want to go on a trail ride or go to the Hunter trial field ? Go for it - and he’s the type that can go anywhere with or without friends.
Calvin is a reliable partner who loves teaching kids and adults alike.
Property includes:
Access to established hunter jumper trainer and program
Enclosed indoor, outdoor ring, and grass ring.
Miles and miles of trails are accessible right off the property. Including the Hunter trial fields, Weymouth, and so many more.
Barn has a great group from kids to adults
2 indoor hot/cold wash stalls

Thanks to all that helped and supported us during a very hot NCHJA Annual show!

Special thanks to Stacey Ingram and Stephanie Crosby who worked so hard to put on a successful show for everyone and I know we all are thankful for the time they gave to help this organization!

Here are some of our highlights from the week!

Mabel Baker and Patent Pending ended up 8th in the USHJA Pony Derby, 6th in the NCHJA Pony Medal Finals and earned some top ribbons in the large pony hunters

Evie Baker rode Rosmels Stormtrooper to some top ribbons in the children’s ponies while also earning a couple wins and a reserve champion on her other pony SCF Novelty in the sm/med greens

Santana Batts Risky Business had a successful showing earning some good ribbons in the USHJA hunters

Susan Gaines Pinot Noir earned some ribbons in the 3’3 Greens against some top company as well as a ribbon in the incentive class

Rosa Ronalter’s Coquito earned some ribbons in the 3ft Greens and the incentive class with a top 5 finish in the USHJA hunter derby

Horse show catchup- we had a fun two weeks showing at the Carolina Horse Park. Some highlights from the Triangle Farms A show were Evie Baker and SCF Novelty earning Champion in the small/medium greens and her sister Mabel receiving an 8th place ribbon in her first pony derby with her own Patent Pending. Evie and her pony were also circuit Champion for the small/medium greens!
Pinot Noir was circuit champion for the 3’3 Greens and Coquito had some top ribbons in the 3ft greens including a win in the incentive and a 6th in the National hunter derby!

Our second week out at the Sedgefield show included a Derby win for Coquito and Ashley. Another pony hunter champion for Evie and SCF Novelty and a 7th in her first ever derby! Evie also earned a reserve champion with her other pony Rosmels Stormtrooper in the children’s ponies. Nancy Mathews showed her own Once a Prince to a win in the long stirrup hunter flat and earned a second over fences and on the flat for the long stirrup eq! Santana Batts Risky Business took home a win over fences and a reserve champion out of 21 in the Special hunters with Ashley.
