2024 Pony Finals pictures are in! We had such a great time with these three ponies. Some highlights were SCF Novelty with Evie Baker being 29th overall in the small greens, Mabel Baker and Patent Pending were 37th in the over fences out of 143 ponies and Evie and Rosmels Stromtrooper were 43rd in the model out of around 145 ponies. Fun first Pony finals for these girls!

Great opportunity to be part of an excellent h/j training program with a horse that can accomplish your goals from joy riding to competing!

Calvin is not your typical OTTB at all and he comes with references- from littles doing ground poles to professionals doing the 3ft hunters & derbies, and everything in the middle.
He is very quiet, easy to find the jumps on and has a good lead change.
The last three years of showing at the Carolina horse park he has been year end champion in the hunters from 2’6- 3ft divisions. He was also year end reserve champion in the long stirrup with his previous lease kid. He filled in last minute for an itty bitty kid to do the walk trot ground poles. Very safe!
Calvin will stand for hours - ground tied with no halter while you groom and get ready. He LOVES being groomed and pampered.
Want to go on a trail ride or go to the Hunter trial field ? Go for it - and he’s the type that can go anywhere with or without friends.
Calvin is a reliable partner who loves teaching kids and adults alike.
Property includes:
Access to established hunter jumper trainer and program
Enclosed indoor, outdoor ring, and grass ring.
Miles and miles of trails are accessible right off the property. Including the Hunter trial fields, Weymouth, and so many more.
Barn has a great group from kids to adults
2 indoor hot/cold wash stalls

Lease includes 3 days a week of riding, one of which must be a lesson

Thanks to all that helped and supported us during a very hot NCHJA Annual show!

Special thanks to Stacey Ingram and Stephanie Crosby who worked so hard to put on a successful show for everyone and I know we all are thankful for the time they gave to help this organization!

Here are some of our highlights from the week!

Mabel Baker and Patent Pending ended up 8th in the USHJA Pony Derby, 6th in the NCHJA Pony Medal Finals and earned some top ribbons in the large pony hunters

Evie Baker rode Rosmels Stormtrooper to some top ribbons in the children’s ponies while also earning a couple wins and a reserve champion on her other pony SCF Novelty in the sm/med greens

Santana Batts Risky Business had a successful showing earning some good ribbons in the USHJA hunters

Susan Gaines Pinot Noir earned some ribbons in the 3’3 Greens against some top company as well as a ribbon in the incentive class

Rosa Ronalter’s Coquito earned some ribbons in the 3ft Greens and the incentive class with a top 5 finish in the USHJA hunter derby

Horse show catchup- we had a fun two weeks showing at the Carolina Horse Park. Some highlights from the Triangle Farms A show were Evie Baker and SCF Novelty earning Champion in the small/medium greens and her sister Mabel receiving an 8th place ribbon in her first pony derby with her own Patent Pending. Evie and her pony were also circuit Champion for the small/medium greens!
Pinot Noir was circuit champion for the 3’3 Greens and Coquito had some top ribbons in the 3ft greens including a win in the incentive and a 6th in the National hunter derby!

Our second week out at the Sedgefield show included a Derby win for Coquito and Ashley. Another pony hunter champion for Evie and SCF Novelty and a 7th in her first ever derby! Evie also earned a reserve champion with her other pony Rosmels Stormtrooper in the children’s ponies. Nancy Mathews showed her own Once a Prince to a win in the long stirrup hunter flat and earned a second over fences and on the flat for the long stirrup eq! Santana Batts Risky Business took home a win over fences and a reserve champion out of 21 in the Special hunters with Ashley.

Successful weekend at Triangle Farms A show! Mabel Baker qualified her pony Patent Pending and Rosmel’s Storm Trooper for pony finals with reserve champions, Evie Baker earned a reserve champion in the schooling ponies and small/med greens and Rosa Ronalter’s horse Coquito earned a reserve Champion in the 3 ft Greens (thank you Pat!). Pinot Noir earned ribbons in the 3’3 green and won a trip over the weekend with Emily in the Ariat Medal!

For consideration- Leo- 16.1 hand 8 yr old QH gelding available for sale or possible lease situation. Will wtc and jump around a 2’6 course. Has lead changes both directions but not auto yet, still needs more time learning them. Has great potential to be a fun and competitive local childrens/adult hunter with more miles! Congrats to Susan Gaines “Pinot Noir” who made his debut in the 3’3 Greens at the triangle Holiday show and ended up with a Champion! Big thank you to Mike Rosser who took over the reins for Ashley since she was unable to attend! Pino also doubles as a lead line pony for Susan’s granddaughter Imogen! ❤️

In house 1/2 lease (care lease) available on this 16.1 hand 7 yr old QH gelding. He is good on trails and has been out alone and with company. Will also jump around a little course and is working on lead changes. Would be a fun all around horse for someone to play with. Located at very nice facility in Southern pines. Offered for consideration- International Derby prospect, qualified for Jr Hunter Finals 2024, can cross into the big eq. “Tulsa King” is a 6 yr old 17.2 hand warmblood gelding, sweet as can be, quiet, huge stride, easy changes, hacks out. Has shown in the 3’3 this year with professional and junior rider. Can’t say enough good things about this horse and am so sad to be offering him for sale- someone will be very happy with him! Champion this past winter at WEF in the 3’3 Greens. Just Champion a couple weeks ago at Duke horse show in Jr hunters. Located in Southern Pines NC. Low sixes, no lease option. Video in comments

Such a fun and successful Duke horse show! Very proud of these horses and riders! Looking forward to a good 2024 season!

-Coquito and Ashley were champion in the Ushja 2’6 and 2’9
-Pino Noir ended up reserve champion in the 3ft greens and 2nd in the National derby
-Damiano earned several top two placings in the 3ft greens
-Tulsa King and Finley were champion in the younger jr hunters
-Patent Pending and Mabel had a great showing in the children’s ponies including a win over fences
-Rosmels Stromtrooper and Evie earned a third out of a huge short stirrup class and continued building their new partnership

We had a good time at the inaugural NCHJA “c” show Finals! Congrats to Mabel Baker and her pony Patent Pending who won the Children’s Pony division and Kathryn Kim with her horse Smitten who ended up third overall in the Adult Hunters!

Great opportunity for someone wanting a fun 3-3’6 hunter/derby horse, could also double in equitation as well. Hoping for a 6 month lease but would also entertain longer to a good situation. Gloria Verte is a 12 yr old warmblood mare- spent time in the jumper ring before transitioning to the hunters and has been super consistent ribboning in the top 5 of every derby she has done out of 20-40 entries. Also several champion and reserves in the 3-3’6 perf hunters/adult amateurs. Fun horse with tons of scope. Please contact for more info. 6 month lease in very low fives plus insurance. Good week and weather at NC State Fair Show. Finley and her horse Tulsa King debuted in the Jr hunters. Susan Gaines Pinot Noir and Erica Adams Damiano both tied for reserve champion in the 3ft Greens. Rosa Ronalter’s horse took home several blue ribbons with a reserve champion in the 2’9 USHJA and champion in a big schooling division. Jesse Lienhard and Eclatant ended up reserve champion in the short stirrup! Congrats all!

SATP early fall show highlights-
Coquito had a clean sweep in his divisions and a second in the derby. Finley and Tulsa King were weekend champions in the JR/AM, both Mabel Baker and Kathrine Parker had class wins in their Eq divisions. Evie Baker and Kathryn on Smitten both ribboned well in their respective divisions! Looking forward to more cool fall shows!

Congrats to all on a nice Sedgefield A show! Lauren Wolfes Gloria Verte was Champion in the 3’6 performance, Susan Gaines Pinot Noir earned champion in the 3ft Greens and Erica Adams Damiano won a 3ft Green class. All three above earned ribbons in the derby Saturday as well! Rosa Ronalter’s Coquito earned reserve champion in the 2’9 Ushja, Finely and Tulsa King won almost all their over fences classes to earn champion in the low children’s and Mabel with her pony Patent Pending earned a top spot and some other top ribbons in the short stirrup! Looking forward to some cooler fall shows!
