Barn cat for sure!
Our sweet boy loves to hop on and catch a ride whenever he can.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FLASH!
Yesterday was Flash’s 23rd birthday. Miss Emily and our volunteers held him a little celebration on Thursday. He was sporting his birthday hat today during lessons. He wears it well!
When your child faces many challenges and you find an activity that she loves and that is also beneficial to her health and wellbeing, no distance traveled is too far to make her happy. This is Emily and Annie's story. Annie has been a rider at The Camelot Center for more than thirteen years. Every Saturday morning, they make the long trip to Annie's therapeutic horseback riding lessons at The Camelot Center. Though she is mostly nonverbal, her excitement and love for Camelot and her horse, May, is there for all to see. With few words, Annie expresses the joy that therapeutic riding gives her through smiles and an occasional giggle. Please watch Emily's video and hear how this loving mother feels about her daughter's Camelot experience.
Taking care of May and the other horses is no small expense. Thanks to the generosity of many people who help through their donations, we are able to ensure that riders like Annie and our horses have a safe and nurturing environment. By shopping at smile.amazon.com and using the link: smile.amazon.com/ch/34-1774119 , The Camelot Center will receive 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchase. Please support us this season as you shop. #SeasonofSmiles
The miles walked each day are so worth the effort! Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who make it all happen.
Playing catch is much more fun on horseback!
"Romeo" prefers senior feed bags, but this will do.
How many licks does it take to finish a mineral block? Levi is still counting.
Love watching them be turned out!
Our rider, Nadia, was thrilled to see the horses play in the snow. We love to be a part of these new experiences.
Precious!
This is Precious being turned loose for the first time since she was hurt! She's come a long way!
