Thank you to Team HITS and Equestrian Garden’s friends, family and customers for the best summer series. We couldn’t have asked for more support from the community for our first launch and it was an honor for our floral designs to participate in the event back at the barn, in the ring and in the exhibitor’s lounge throughout the week. The talent at HITS was off the charts amazing and I can’t wait to see what the fall brings next! 🍁🍁🍁We look forward to serving the HITS Community at the end of August. Looking for his next kid: Aged grey gelding approximately 14.1 h. Saintly and bombproof sweetheart of a pony that comes out perfectly quiet no matter how many days he is ridden. The absolute safest and best boy for any child from tiny beginners learning to wtc through the 2 foot low children’s divisions. Easy changes and will jump anything with anyone. This pony truly loves his job and is perfect for a kid to grow and gain confidence on. 100% suitable for any level rider with no spook, no stop ever, zero bad behavior, etc. Will go quiet forever with beginners and has his own motor with more experienced riders. Has plenty of local show miles and is pretty enough to be competitive anywhere. He will stand patiently for hours of grooming, bathing, clipping, vet, farrier, and perfectly easy to ship. Loves attention and getting fussed over, so we will be looking for a very special kid to care for him! Only requires very low maintenance with a basic monthly smartpak and quality hay.

Available June 1st to borrow only to an approved program. Trials ok for a fee with insurance and can be tried now anytime at his home farm. Located in Eastern Long Island, NY. Professional inquiries only please!

Ghost: 2006 grey gelding approximately 14.1 h. Ghost is a saintly sweetheart of a pony that comes out the same no matter how many days he is ridden. The absolute best boy for any child from tiny beginners learning to walk and trot, through pre-children’s 2’ divisions. All around solid citizen that loves his job and is the perfect pony for a kid to grow and gain confidence on. Has plenty of local show miles and pretty enough to be competitive anywhere. Post #2 of 2…Another to our favorite horse show, counting down one more week until we’re back at the Vermont Summer Festival🙌🏻…Who jumped it best?!

Fun facts: both are Irish Sport Horses; the chestnut horse was a 6 year old in this class, and I’d had him at my farm in training for a year already…the grey was 6, just imported 2 weeks earlier, & this was my first day riding him😆

The chestnut ended up placing 2nd, and the grey was 4th out of 60+ entries👏🏻🎉

Congratulations to our baby pony Beaujolais🎉. He competed in his first competition today and won the outreach hack with his best bud Jess👏🏻🤩❤️
They also placed 3rd, 4th, and 6th in the over fences classes. We are so proud of you two!

Flashback Friday: My first big eq horse Swiss Miss, that I had gotten in April, just after my 13th birthday many years ago💓
I was very blessed to have an incredibly talented trainer, and such an experienced horse for my first USEF medal finals that fall. Fun fact…I was told Swiss Miss had competed previously in Open Speed (~1.5 m) Classes with Jefferey Welles! Swiss often loved to show off by jumping out of her paddock and taking herself to her stall when she was ready to come in😆

Levi: 11 year old, 16.3 hand Appendix gelding. The farm purchased Levi for me to use as a lesson horse, but he decided he’s much happier being a one person horse. He is fun to ride, has plenty of stride, and can jump through 2’6” with ease. He does not spook or take off, but Levi is not suitable as a beginner horse because he can get strong sometimes after jumps. We are therefore hoping to find an intermediate rider for him.
Levi would thrive in a home with full time pasture turnout, and he goes best with some monthly maintenance/supplements. We have a full vetting on file for review.
