The Vining Hill Equestrian Center is situated on 70 beautiful acres of woods and farmland. In addition, the Center abuts several other farms to make trail riding almost endless. The Equestrian Center consists of 2 barns with 25 stalls, indoor and 2 fenced-in outdoor riding rings, round pen, wash rack, as well as a heated viewing room and bathroom. There are also six large grass turn out paddocks.

Vining Hill Equestrian Center is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. and the owners, Jeramie and Susan Banks live on-site. With a full time professional staff, Vining Hill Equestrian Center offers expert boarding and complete training for your horse. We also offer riding lessons with accomplished licensed instructors who are well-versed in teaching all disciplines from beginner to advanced. In addition, we offer summer horse programs for beginner to advanced riders from age 5 and up, 2 adult programs in the spring and fall as well as school vacation programs and an in-house horse show.

Full-Time Barn Manager position available immediately at Vining Hill Equestrian Center in Southwick, MA (www.vininghillequestrian.com).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Caring for daily needs of approximately 25 horses
- AM Feeding/watering
- Turn-out/Turn-in
- Cleaning 20-25 stalls daily
- Other duties as assigned
- Schedule is Monday-Friday

Minimum requirements:
- 2 years of relevant horse care experience.
- Ability to work independently & be reliable
- Driver’s License / own transportation
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Customer service experience highly desirable!

Week 1 July 6 – 10 Intermediate/Advanced Week 9:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2 July 13 – 17 Beginner/Intermediate Week 9:00am – 2:00pm
Week 3 July 20 – 24 Beginner/Intermediate Week 9:00am – 2:00pm
Week 4 July 27 – 31 Beginner/Intermediate Week 9:00am – 2:00pm

Beginner/Intermediate: For children 5 years and older. Basic horse care and maintenance, equipment identification, arts and crafts. Group riding lesson will be taught every day. Session ends with a horse show and pizza party.

Intermediate/Advanced: For children 11 years old and older who possess the skills to handle a horse at a walk, trot, canter and jump (optional). Group riding lesson will be taught every day. Session ends with a horse show and pizza party.
