Hello Clients of Tahoma Veterinary Hospital! With the 4th of July right around the corner - we encourage you to start calling and requesting refills for any anti-anxiety medications your pets require to help make the holiday go a little smoother. Your pet must be up to date on their annual examination in order for us to prescribe these medications.

Additionally, we require 48-72 hours for refill requests to be processed and filled.

Thank you and we look forward to helping you and your critters have a safe and happy Independence Day!

A Good Samaritan came by to check for a microchip for a super cute female tan pit/husky mix! Found in Spanaway. One ear stands up perfectly and the other has curl at the top! Blue eyes and a great disposition, if you think this is your little girl please feel free to message us on Facebook only as we are closed for normal business hours now. Thank you!

Hello clients of TVH! Yesterday we suffered an internet outage that also took down our phone system. Additionally, we are rotating staff due to seasonal illnesses. At this time, we are working as diligently as possible to catch up on the back log of voicemails; we received many “Urgent”’type voicemails that we are making a priority to call those back first. Refills will take a bit longer but we will through those second, and work on all other return calls as we are able to do so. We encourage you to call back if you called and left a non-urgent voicemail for routine services, or pricing estimates. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we work to get caught up!! Thank you!

Hello pet parents! We are writing this to inform we have been experiencing IT issues; we had a power outage and an internet outage that took us out for a full business day. In addition to that, we have many staff out sick, as we combat the cold and flu season. We are working hard to get caught up, but we are currently inundated with voicemails to return and emails to address. Due to the backlog, if you are still in need of assistance or to get your pet scheduled for something urgently, please call us to connect. We want to make sure we don’t miss anyone or leave anyone in need.

We apologize for these inconvenient circumstances, but they are beyond our control. We appreciate your kindness and patience during this time, thank you!

Friendly reminder: that we are offering small animal emergency services until 10pm, large animal emergency services are offered 24/7.
Urgent care appointments/same day appointments/after hours appointments all incur an additional fee.

We appreciate the support from our community and wish you all a happy holiday season!
