Meet my horse 2!

This is Rin-Tin. She was my first horse I bought with my own money at 13 years old. She was 18 and was started on barrels the year I bought her. We have been together for 7 years and I know her like the back of my hand! She has now retired to lessons but was my main barrel horse since the day I bought her. She has qualified me for multiple high level shows and won me plenty of money. Everyone who meets her falls in love from the first pet. She loves kids and while she isn't afraid to make my students work she always takes care of them!

Meet my horse!

This is Leoti! She's my main lesson horse! I got Leoti 3 years ago for $300. She knew absolutely nothing and wasn't in the best condition. I was told that she was evil and a witch and that it was a waste of my time to train her. I started her and trained her myself with guidance from a trainer. She didn't know anything and had been abused in the past so she was super flighty and had issues trusting. She didn't like walking when haltered and would sit back and fight you for as long as it took for you to give in. I felt connected to her in a way I haven't felt connected to a horse in a while. So I made it my mission to make her into something that everyone wish they had. And this is her today! Its been a long journey to get her this far with a lot of vet bills, blood, sweat and tears but it was so worth it. Now I trust her to do anything!

Meet Me!

Hi! My name is Lauren Pechacek and I run Painting The Picture. I'm 21 years old and I attend classes online in Equine Body Work. My dream is to run my own business one day! I've been horse back riding for 9 years and I've always ridden training horses. I started out riding them under my trainer and slowly but surely moved in to getting my first project horse (You'll meet her in the meet my horse post) I did mainly barrel racing for about 4 years but when I switched trainers I started focusing on natrual horsemanship and developed those skills for the past 3 years while still barrel racing. I've always loved to help and after finding natrual horsemanship I realized I could combine my love for horses and my want to help people. My natrual horsemanship was developed through my experiences and with the help of an amazing trainer. I strive to help people and their horses get the connection I have with my horses because everyone deserves to connect with their horse.

My name is Lauren Pechacek, and I am excited to bring beginner riding lessons, c**t starting, and horse refreshers to Sparks, Ga. My riding lessons include learning how to properly care for horses, saddle and unsaddle, ride correctly and safely, and horsemanship on a beginner level that young children can easily understand. My starting age for lessons is five years old, and goes up to any age that is a beginner wanting to learn. You will learn to care for the horse and do everything possible yourself. I have a gentle, safe lesson horse that I can provide, as well as I can give lessons on your own horse if it is hauled to me, or within a reasonable distance from me with a trip fee added in. My pricing is $30 for a 30 minite time slot (this is the required time for children ages 5-6) and is optional for older ages. My pricing for an hour time slot is $50. Trip fee varies.
