At Ricketts Kennel, we now offer larger rooms for up to 3 dogs who wish to be boarded together in one room.
Also, I have added 6ft fencing surrounding the entire building with locked gates., which adds even more outdoor play area to the existing play area. One play area is covered over top with chain link as a safety precaution, to avoid those who might be able to jump a 6ft fence.

Two (2) spots have just opened up at Ricketts during Spring Break from March 25 until April 10, due to a cancellation.

Please make sure all your dogs are caught up on ALL vaccines!
For any dogs being boarded at Ricketts in the future, I will need to see proof of Rabies, Bordatella AND Distemper vaccines. That all 3 are current.

Due to recent events of this mystery illness going around effecting dogs in Michigan, please keep your dogs away from public areas. Here, at my facility, Ricketts Kennel, LLC,, I will be diligent in making sure the kennels and runs are clean and disinfected to the best of my ability Although, unfortunately, nothing is 100% effective. Please watch your dogs carefully, watch for symptoms. This is very sad, and I sincerely hope that all your/my dogs stay healthy. And please keep updated/current on vaccinations. Finally, I ask that if you have an upcoming reservation with Ricketts, and your dog is experiencing any vomiting or diarrhea, please cancel until your dog is well. Thank you

We will be putting in a large fenced in play area in early Spring, 2022

10 boarding kennels, 5 on each side. Climate controlled. Guillotine doors in each 4' x 4' x 6' H front gated area, which leads each kennel to 4'W x 11'L x 6'H dog run. Runs are chain link with tops on each one. Also privacy panels between each run which can be removed upon request. Each run is also protected from the elements; wind, rain, snow etc.
