If you know a dog that could use a nice warm spot out of the cold, there's room at Boo's and people willing to sponsor

There’s still time to get your pups in out of this weather tonight folks. We’ve had a few people message us and state that they can’t afford $10/night through next weekend.

I want you to know that YOU decide how long you want your dog to stay here to ride out this weather. You don’t have to leave them here for 7 nights. I’m just opening my doors to give your dog a warm place to ride it out with a bed, blankets, and heat because I hate thinking about all the dogs out there freezing their tails off.

I also want you to know, I am absolutely NOT going to turn your dog away over $10. In fact, let’s forget the $10/night. Just throw us a few bucks to help cover the gas required to make it through these nights to keep your pets warm. I typically don’t run my gas in the kennel if there are no dogs in there.

I have 8 stalls available tonight-Thursday. Just get them here with enough food to last as many nights as you want them to stay. 😉

Hello, it's coming up on vacation time for a lot of folks so I wanted to post about the pet/farm sitting that I do again. I have been doing this a few years now, have references, and prefer working in White County. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can take care of your fluffy, scaley, and feathery kids while you're away. I do drop-in visits, and will come out to meet you and your critters for no obligation prior to you needing my service. So that no one is surprised upon meeting me, I'm a nonbinary transgender person. It shouldn't matter what my gender is to do this job but as some people aren't comfortable with transgender people I figured I should be up-front.

I'm also looking for a new long-term/daily dog walking client - my last one moved away so I have a midday spot for folks who work during the day and could use someone to stop by and get your pup(s) some exercise.

Depending on your location and needs, drop-ins start at as little as $10/visit (please note this is only for a single animal with simple needs, located on or very close to my normal route, and also includes bringing in mail and watering plants if desired; others will start at $15, just shoot this page a message if you'd like a quote). I have openings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holiday drop-ins, if anyone needs pet or farm sitting. Starts at $10 for the simplest visit & based on distance. I offer discounts for multiple animals with the same needs. I cannot provide boarding. I have References if desired.

If I have cared for your animals before, can you please comment on this post to help show references/recommendations? And get my post more eyes from the al gorithm? 💜 Photo is my tabby who likes to tuck himself in the blankets x)

Hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays! This kitten certainly was... also wanted to share the lovely gifts the 2 ladies I clean kennels for gave me. I will be out of town until the 7th and unavailable from the 21-24th.

Hello, if you already know me thank you for coming to check out my new page. If you don't, my name is Tory and I'm starting a pet/farm sitting & dog walking venture. My primary business is pottery ( Works) but among other things it has been difficult to sell pottery during a pandemic and as veteran with a disability (cannot lift more than 40lbs or so, can't stand or sit in one place very long) my options are a bit limited so I thought I'd give this a try.

I love animals and currently care for cats, dogs, goats, and donkeys of my own. I am comfortable with handling any species except spiders, which I am ok to feed but not touch. If it is a species I am not used to I am fine to follow strict instructions.

Area of Service:
I am willing to travel around Sparta, Cookeville, McMinnville, Smithville, and Crossville areas but depending on how far you are (outside 25mi from center of Sparta) there will be a surcharge of $0.25/mile in gas.

Rates/Payment:

Dog walking: $10/30min per dog

Feeding/caretaking: $10+ per visit based on number of animals and type of care required.

For instance, a $10 visit would cover cleaning one litter pan, feeding/checking water and enrichment if the animal wants attention (I know some are more aloof than others but I will always try to befriend if they are willing). Add roughly $5 for each animal and an additional $10 for larger cages that require more extensive cleaning or manure shoveling. I usually discount for folks within Sparta.

I can take PayPal, venmo, cash, or check. On a case-by-case basis I am also willing to trade for farm goods such as butter, cheese, dill pickles, etc.
