Cheryl here :) Here's an oldie but goody that's perfect for a very cold day!

Of course my little dishwasher (Hidi) wanted to lick the plate. This is quite salty, so she didn't get much. And before anyone judges - the dishes do go into a dishwasher when she's done. Besides, dogs don't have cooties. ;)

Have you ever thought about feeding your German shepherds raw? Are you leery of feeding raw? It's easier than it seems! Most people feed a frankenprey--a version of prey model. You'll also see a video of Cheryl's Rambo from many years ago enjoying a deer leg from a deer carcass.

The main things when feeding raw are:

** Know your dog (aggressive chewer, gulper, etc)
** Balance over time

The most common form of raw feeding is the prey model diet, though BARF is also common. Get started feeding your German shepherd raw with Raw Feeding 101.

All of our current puppies have new homes. We are now taking reservations for spring litters. One of our first hopeful breedings is Chess and Abe. We will have pictures sometime next week of puppies from their first litter.

For now, here is a picture of Silver Edition's Hidi of Royalair (Hidi), Chess's mom on her first day of retirement in her new retirement home (August 2024). The second picture is of Rosehall's Treasure Chess (Chess).
