Congratulations to Tanya and Matt Betsinger, owners of Dragonfly Run Equestrian, LLC on their purchase of Rivendell Equestrian Center! The future is in your hands!

A special thank you to Chantel Temp and all our wonderful boarders that made this facility such a great place to be, that it has been for so many years. I’m looking forward to joining all of you in the pursuit of enjoying the horses, (in my case Ellie and Desi), and just having fun with all of you.

Today was absolutely perfect weather for our annual WWHSA Dressage Show. I would like to say thank you to all the competitors that came today and the numerous spectators who thoroughly enjoyed watching all the rides. Thank you to Schindoggies for spoiling us with your great food offerings and to Team Rivendell for providing all the time and effort it takes to put on a show. Special thank you to Taylor, Chris Olivia and Stacy who keep the show running smoothly and our Judge, Nicole Trapp who is so great to work with. It truly takes all these people to make days like today happen. Again, Thank you everyone and hope to see you back next year.

Recently our beef girls with their youngsters knocked down a gate and went thru our old dairy barn to visit greener pastures. To make matters worse they went BACK thru said barn/gate to return to their regular pasture, so we were unaware they had made this excursion. Said barn also happens to be where we store our pallets of sawdust. I am pretty sure they had GREAT FUN attacking the giant stacks they encountered on their trip!
