At Sable Ranch we breed KFPS/FHANA Friesians and a few crosses. All of our Mares and Stallions registered in the Main studbook with the KFPS. We were home to the late KFPS Approved stallion Maiko 373 Sport. He is kind, gentle and classically beautiful. He produces smart easy to train foals with beautiful heads and "curve" appeal that are very suitable for Dressage and riding. They excel at Walk a

Our Story

At Sable Ranch we are home to Maiko 373 a KFPS approved Friesian stallion. We also stand his son Theodoor Sable (Maiko 373 x Jillis 301) and a Gypsy Vanner Stallion Hercules Sable. Maiko 373 Sport, is kind, gentle and classically beautiful. He produces smart easy to train foals with beautiful heads and "curve" appeal that are very suitable for Dressage and riding. They excel at Walk and Canter which are the most important gaits in Dressage. He is available to pure Friesian mares and all his foals can be registered with the KFPS Maiko book.

Theodoor is excelling as a stallion and partner with Allison. He has scored above 70’s in all his in hand dressage breeders/sport horse classes and will continue to impress in IFSHA and other types of riding. Theodoor is available to all breeds via AI. The foals out of pure mares can be KFPS b-book registered and all part Friesian foals can be registered with the Friesian Heritage horse.

Hercules Sable is a Gypsy Vanner (GVHS). He’s got a very easy going personality with a ton of great movement. He road in his first show successfully after only 12 rides. He also drives. He is homozygious black tobiano and will make amazing foals that are colorful and easy to train. He is available to all breeds. Gypsians can be registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse.
