Hello, my name is SATA I am an Electronic Detection K-9 assigned to Sgt Brandon Letterman with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

I am a Black Lab Retriever trained to detect a unique odor on electronic devices.

I got to be on TV today…my dad talked about the job I did and how good I was at it. They also talked about how you can donate to Defenders for Children to get more dogs like me. It was a fun morning and I got to meet a lot of new people !!!!

Dad told me if I didn’t behave he was going to take me to jail. Well he did, but it was a joke ... lol. I got to go work and assist the SCDOC and SCSO on a case they were working. They told me I did good and and dad seemed proud of me !!!

Daddy and I got a little dirty today. Dad told me there was a bad guy found in the woods and he threw his phone down in the woods and it may have evidence on it. After crossing over a creek (I LOVED the water) and through some briars. I found the bad guys phone !!! Dad said he was proud of me !!!! Mark one down for the good guys !!!!

So in today’s adventures !!!! I got stuck under a bed. I got curious and got under it, but then I heard dad calling my name and I couldn’t get out. So I just laid there waiting on him, wagging my tell because I knew he was coming. Well he found me like this. I was a lil embarrassed. He said “bless your heart” so I’m pretty sure he thought it was funny !!!
