hey!! 👋🏾 there has been a lot of growth over the past few months so please, let me introduce myself 💛

i am joni, a certified herbalist through Cornell University's Medicinal Plants Certificate program in addition to many other titles. however, this one has been in me for a long time. when i was 10 i dreamed of becoming a pharmacist because the one we had consulted with customers every visit and made you feel part of a community. my life ended up taking many different turns throughout the years but the calling never left.

i began growing herbs in 2009 in the backyard of my townhouse. i had a small 4'x4' bricked garden where i ended up growing 10 different herbs! i began to take note of their smells and textures and became curious about them in regards to teas. that is where my journey along this path began. any time i had a cough or sniffle i would pick an herb, make a tea, and feel better. i realized i was healing myself! i began sharing teas and other herbal remedies with close family and friends and they started feeling better too!

so now, here i am, spreading my love of herbs and knowledge to you as an herbal pharmacist. many of the herbs used come from my private gardens, JAH.K.C, which holds over 30 herbs and vegetables during the summer growing season. i focus on a specific set of herbs based on my community's needs. JAH.K.C is chemical and pesticide free. i use natural, edible methods to fertilize and protect my garden. otherwise, the rest of my products are sourced from local farms and businesses and are 100% organic. all teas, steams, and soaks are handmade with love and in good spirit upon order.

✨ magickal moment today when this lovely woman approached me 💛 she saw me on and said she had to meet me because shes never met an herbalist before 🥹 she came with a bag full of herbal medicine books 😫🥰💛

✨ we had THEEEEE BEST conversation 💓 we talked about EVERYTHING and then she gave me a special recipe 🥰 it cured a very serious disease for her.

✨ spirit truly is amazing. 🙌🏾 the people im connecting with are all blessings. i know a spirit being when i encounter one. they all have the same traits, just come in different shapes and forms. aśe 💛

Hey Honey child! Since one of my dope ass friends IS the apothecary, i never have to worry. Me and are 2 peas in a pod. She has brought her healing energy and products to my home, and i am forever grateful. She is one of the few people who can get me to submerge myself in water for a healing/therapeutic bath. Our connection is beyond this physical realm. (IYKYK)

I am most grateful that her connection with "spirit " has opened me up while im in my 1st House (The time after Aries season. Shift is happening all around me, and she has helped me open up to that shift. Yall check her out!

05:14 up and at it 😳 got a spare on the truck, trunks an entire mess with a busted tire & disheveled tools…got a popup from 10-2 thats supposed to be in the rain and im not sure of the turnout-to-effort ratio. just realized i need to figure out this 10x10 tent as 1 person. at the same time the girl has a soccer game at 8. 🥴

sounds like a huge struggle & impossible so lets see what happens 💛

Quick reminder that while we don't have our normal trivia on Thursday night, we do have the Reel Guys presenting "Re**er Madness" on 4/20! Not only will you see this 1936 public domain movie in a whole new light, they'll be games, prizes and a vendor fair as well! Definitely worth the trip out with the vendor fair starting at 6 PM.
