Took Henry today for his HW test 6 months post treatment and I was SOOOO happy he was negative. This dog has turned out to be such a great dog! No idw his age but he will spend rest of his life here with us! He also highly recommends Open Farm products 😍😍😍

Dogs are creatures of habit….one thing I think that people don’t think about is maintaining an actual structured routine for their dogs. I know I’ve seen dogs act out with different behavioral issues when kids go back to school, when kids are out of school, moving, getting married, bringing new people into a house hold, boarding, having a party etc…..
I’ve seen anxiety and stress behaviors form. I think sometimes the smallest change in your daily routine can throw dogs behavior off. So people should be more strict prior to any possible events that Life may throw at them and stay consistent before it happens and during these new events. I think this could possibly help dogs through certain processes of change.

Old man Oakley (I call him Oakie) was still outside and acted like he had no intention of ever coming back inside LOL. Love this dog. This is the husky side of him though lol.
Yes, he eventually did come in ….when he was ready. 😂😂 I said fine. You can get wet then. LOL

Every time I watch this video and watch her in person it cracks me up!!
This is a little Sheltie girl at home does not get excited for her food. 😐😐😐 Every time she comes here this is what she does and she will basically rip off your finger tip when you offer her a treat.
Hahaha I call her the little diva piranha!!! I always send the owners a video of her excitement during feeding time and they still are amazed hahaha.
She’s the coolest little dog. I love this little girl, Sweet Dolly!! Can’t forget about the little sidekick Higgins the Australian terrier. He’s my first experience with keeping this breed.

I really wish that all boarding facilities would give every detail about their dogs behavior in boarding (good and bad)……this way the owners will know how to help their dogs or be able to give all information to ANY new boarding facility.
One thing about TTK9 is that my clients never have to worry about me not telling them the truth when it comes to theirs dogs behavior. 😐😐😐😐.
I don’t like being blind sided and I don’t like that the owners have no idea about how their dog acted in boarding.

I got a call from a new client who was referred to me….Apparently she was told by previous places that her dog was aggressive. We did a trial run and she was nervous but overall she did well.
Then she came back during Memorial Day weekend. I absolutely LOVE this sweet girl. She’s great!!! We don’t have any issues with Lola. This is her this weekend.
At TTK9 we do our best to not push dogs into a corner where they feel they can’t breath and make decisions to back away when needed. I do understand that sometimes dogs don’t do well but over all they do.

Still trying to find the right home for this goofball! He’s about 14 months old. He’s been vetted, on heartworm prevention and neutered.
He loves everybody.
Ricky needs a place to call his own.

Handsome Ricky is still looking for a good home. He’s fully vetted. He will need some training with his new family.
I do not recommend a home with small critters 🙂.
Needs a family who is willing to actually put in the work to help make him a good fit.

Still trying to find the right home for these boys! Atlas has just turned three. Ricky don’t know exact age, but somewhere around a year and a half old.

Both are UTD on shots and neutered.

It’s so important to me to have a quiet structured boarding facility. I’m all about a routine. Most of these dogs are frequent flyers 😍😍😍 and a small few are new…(in this video)
I am always very involved with my clients and get to know their dogs quickly. I also always update them on their dogs behavior because I want to help them help their dogs.

I see SOOOO many people that cannot afford medical care for their pets. I cannot stress this enough, but I highly recommend pet insurance. I have been with Trupanion since 2013. They have been great. This would only be for major medical not for yearly visits.
I see a lot of people that are begging for money or setting up a GoFundMe.
I know that not every situation should be created equal, but look into pet insurance!!!

I absoLUTELY love this lil gal!! Lulu is a neat little dog with a disability that does not hold her back! Baby girl was born deaf. The people that adopted her have done such a great job working with her on sign language and has taught me some commands as well

I have always liked the dogs with attitudes! (I don’t know why) but I do.
This is Boone and he’s got miles of attitude and he loves me! Haha. He has no problem letting you know if you smell bad that day! Haha

Didn’t need to take on a new dog but here I am…..I took him quickly because I knew the people I reached out to would take him BUT I knew instantly when I saw him I’d take him regardless. He’s absolutely stunning and such a great boy. So happy I’ll still get to see him and get lots of pics.
I said I’d never have another black and red dog after my Bam but I’d keep him in a skinny minute if I had the space and time.
So thankful I was contacted. 😘😘😘

Ok ok ok!! Super excited about bringing this doodle gal on board to be apart of the TTK9 family!! She has a WONDERFUL temperament and is super chill. Today was her first day and she did good! I loved her reaction when my 6 kennel cats greeted her all at the same time at the door 😂😂😂😂

Sweet no bitey blue was in desperate need of a bath and coat blow out!

I decided to trim his awful grinch feet, clip nails and shape up his fluffy ears (I am NOT a groomer) so I tried my best with my cheap a*z thinning scissors. He’s turned out to be such a nice dog! So easy too and NO muzzle needed. He was absolutely perfect

Can’t believe I’m saying this!! I LOVE this lil mini Aussie!! He’s got a wonderful temperament and absolutely loves everybody! He’s got the rainbows and unicorn type mentality. Such a great little dog.

I lost my Jana Nov 2023. Jenny and Jana were best friends. When she passed away it left my Jenny with no furry companion. She had lost all her originals. She is the last survivor. Well Chuckie has stepped up and follows Jenny everywhere and sleeps with her. They share food together and he loves tripping her up lol and he will rub all over her. I love walking in every morning to see him laying beside her, keeping her company.

I’m still looking for a home for this gsd. He would do much better in a single dog home. He’s very athletic, LOVES hiking. He really wants to be someone’s soul purpose. He’s fully vetted, neutered, orthopedic X-rays have been done, he’s been embarked (genetic health test) and I ran a full lab panel on him.

This sweet baby girl is a new member of the TTK9 family!! Today is her first day boarding with us and she is already figuring out my routine. She is absolutely a true gem!! Her owner was very nervous about leaving her for boarding. I reassured her. She’ll do just fine. Keeping clients up-to-date on how their pups are doing is so important. Meet Kara!!

The folks that know me well know I have a HUGE soft spot for my seniors. Mrs Queen is fairly knew to the TTK9 family but acts as if she’s been here her whole life!! We love you Queenie girl!! I think she’s very much so enjoying the body scratches hahah Meanwhile the black trio in the background is jealous! Don’t worry they got rubs too!

*I do not own the rights to this song*** Got this pup in for a BnT. He just turned 10months old since he’s been here. He’s been with me 2.5 weeks now. His 92lb body doesn’t fit his baby brain. I have to remind myself he’s just a baby. He’s very motivated by movement. If I move he blows up in excitement…..If there are dogs around his brain can’t even focus and he just explodes in excitement. This is our 3rd training session with place. I worked a lot with stationary stuff prior. Well I decided to add some pressure and he did really good!! I absolutely LOVE this puppy. Wish I could have him longer.

***I do not own the rights to this music*** We have some dogs that get to roam the kennel while I’m down there. This is Renfrow!! He’s a super cool doodle (whom I love). He’s actually new to the TTK9 family. He already knows where our feeding station is hahah.

This is such a nice little Aussie pup! He’s 9 months today. I’ve had probably 7 sessions with this pup. I have to say he’s very pushbutton and makes me look really good. LOL. Nice little mover. It’s been about a month since I worked with him. He came today for a lesson. Love his butt wiggles!!

This lil pup had a case of the zoomies!! She was going so fast she curved up on the fencing 😂😂😂

I sure do love what I do! Most of these pups are ours…some have been with me for 100 years and few are new to the crew and 1 is learning social skills. Learning to not lash out and nail a dog just because they are near! She did so good! Wonder if anyone can pick out the one in training

Some chilling times at TTK9!! I went down to let dogs out mid day for their mid day run and play and walked into perfection!! 25 dogs justa chillin! I LOVE it when we all get along!! My cats are always trying to comfort the dogs boarding here at TTK9. Henery is such a great little kitty!! And W is the best!! We absolutely love him here!

Sammy is a 5mo only doodle puppy that really is doing a good job. We just started the sit and stay few days ago. This lesson was today. We will now start increasing some distance. Good job to his mom for doing her homework!!
