Looking for some indoor fun with your dog this winter?
We’ve got a few openings left in our upcoming classes at Puppy Pitstop Training Center. Choices include Puppy Kindergarten (obedience, 6 mos and under), Pups in Progress (obedience 7-12 mos), CSI: Earn your badge (Intro to scent work, any age), and Dynamic Duo (games-based relationship booster, any age). Meet Charlie💕
Charlie is great with people, though she can get a little overexcited about meeting or interacting with them. Here she's learning there's value in disengaging from them as well: it's okay not to interact with everyone. This will be a great lesson for when she grows to her mature height and weight!
✨PUPPY KINDERGARTEN CLASS is designed for pups 6 months of age and younger. PK will help your pup learn to be okay around other people and dogs while still focusing on you and on learning basic behaviors. Next class sessions will begin October 16th and October 21st (your choice) at 6:00 pm.
✨POLITE POOCHES CLASS is designed for pups 1 yr of age and older. If you have an adult dog that needs a refresher or more polite manners, join us in our next "Polite Pooches" course, starting October 16th at 7:15 pm.
✨JOYFUL JOURNEYS CLASS is designed for those pup parents who struggle with ‘polite walks’. This class begins October 21st at 7:15pm

Wish your dog was a Polite Pooch? Join our upcoming class for dogs over one year old and learn the many ways you can apply the power of this simple game to grow a dog who is a delight to live with! We'll also cover common obedience behaviors such as sit, down, leave it, place, watch me, touch, and stay.

We’ve been working on desensitizing this big lab pup to a Gentle Leader for more than a week. Having this on while he plays tug or chews on a bone helps! His walking on leash is steadily improving, as seen here!
Our trainers offer a class, ‘Joyful Journeys’ as well as private lessons, to help make walking your dog more enjoyable for both of you!
