People For Pets People For Pets helps pets find loving homes and people find loving pets. Before this agreement was made, these loving pets were put to sleep!

People For Pets is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving homes for abandoned pets. We have an agreement with the City of Spencer, Iowa, to find homes for all stray cats and dogs not claimed within three business days. People For Pets is an all volunteer, private, nonprofit shelter and rescue. We receive no government funding and are supported solely by private donations and adoption

fees. Volunteers are always welcome! Come Visit or Send a Donation:

Spencer employees came together and donated $1,042 to People For Pets, a local animal rescue that provides food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need. 🐾 We were thrilled to have a special visit from King the Dog, who brought lots of smiles!

Thank you to everyone who contributed, every bit of generosity makes a real difference for these animals as they wait for their forever homes.
