Im just over here giving words of affirmations to the boarding dogs on my weekends because their well being & happiness is important to me 💛
This is the kind of treatment I want my dogs to have when I go out of town, so I ensure this is the love given to dogs in my care.
It makes me sad to think they may hear they are a good boy or girl everyday at home and at some facilities they wouldn’t get to hear those words. They may not hear “goodnight, I love you!” But here they do from me 💓
Each & every dog is special in their own way & they should not all be boarded the same.
Some pups need an extra blanket because they like to build their own bed or burrow, some pups need towels under their water bowls because they love their water more than life, some dogs need that extra pet, some dogs need company when going potty, some dogs need extra guidance when walking around, some dogs need their special treat after morning potty, some dogs want to greet you before going outside, some dogs want to participate in the excitement the whole let out, others want to be let out & lay back down. Some dogs need special rooms, some dogs walk in the front door & know where to go & some dogs need their bed from home.
Whatever it is, we do our best to learn them & what they like 💛
