Just finished letting everyone out for potty before bed, and it's -2 degrees outside. We started today at 3, made it all the way to 21 degrees in the sun, now dropping well below 0. It's times like this that I'm thankful for how dedicated we are to the dogs in our care , but also ask myself, is this too much? Hmmmmm.... ☺️
Well, off to shower and bed before another sunrise outing in the tundra!

The evolution of today, told by snow amount on our turf.
Woke up to quite a bit. Dogs played and I shoveled lines. At 9:30 the turf had just a smidge still on it and by noon the turf was all clear. Still a bunch of snow to play in for those that like it too.

Another sad loss. Pepper passed away at the ripe age of 15. She had a very loving family who took excellent care of her and loved her so very much. When they needed to board, they were a little nervous because she was already an older girl. But she was wonderful here. She had a previous ACL tear earlier in life so she always had a little hiccup to her step. We were supposed to try and keep her calm but she would find a match and be off playing. She was so happy here and we loved her beaming smile. We haven't seen her in a while but she is one we will remember. RIP Pepper. 💔

We recently learned of the death of a senior that used to board with us. This is Iris, and she started staying with us when she was already an older gal. Her parents thought she might just like a calmer stay, but she was young at heart. She liked to be with the younger dogs and even played. She had such a sweet face. And she always wanted kisses. She was a delight to know. Rest in peace sweet Iris.

4. Lily in action! She's the one that actually likes other dogs. The breed can be a bit much for others. 😆

Have you ever seen a fuzzy pit bull type dog? It's Teddy!! This sweet, gentle, Furry bear is part and Great Pyrenees giving him his unusual and adorable look.
Teddy is a special guy. He is homebody and prefers to only be with his people on their farm. He's such a lucky boy. They get him. And that is the best part about seeing dogs and their owners. Making the perfect match!
We get him too so he can be successful here with his little quirks.

We borrowed Finn yesterday since he doesn't love far from us. We needed his fun to help entertain the ladies here (and Csonka) and he delivered! On a very warn November day he, Stella, Lucy, Leia, and Zoey had a great time with him. He is such a great guy. Fun was had by all!!!

Jaimie and Mollie are the sweetest girls. These love to play ball, typical Corgi style with lots of crazy noises and fast moving little legs. 😆
They are such good girls and we love having these two stay.
