Paleface Veterinary Clinic

Paleface Veterinary Clinic Small and large animal mixed practice. We’re happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff.

Weekend hours: We are open 8-12pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month

Hello, and thank you for your interest in our hospital! And of course, we would love to hear from you! So if you have any questions, or if you’d rather just talk to us over the phone, give us a call at 512-264-1700. Our History:
Paleface Veterinary Clinic opened its doors in September 2003. Dr. Schuessler had a dream whil

e in veterinary school of one day opening a practice in his hometown of Spicewood, TX. He is proud to have started the first vet practice in Spicewood. The name Paleface was chosen due to the high numbers of Indians that once lived along the Pedernales River and from the famous local rancher named Malcolm Levi (founder of the Red Brangus cattle breed), who had white faced Hereford Cattle on his property which is currently Paleface Ranch Estates today in Spicewood. Our Philosophy:
Our approach to Veterinary care is in the words of our motto,
“We give our best and do our best, every pet, every time”.

Happy Thanksgiving! We will be closed starting today (11/27/24) at 12pm and we will re-open Friday (11/29/24) at 10am. Please have a safe and blessed holiday!

While it’s tempting to share your food with pets this Thanksgiving, table scraps can lead to health issues—think upset stomachs, obesity, or even toxic reactions from common ingredients. Instead, consider pet-safe treats, and keep holiday dishes out of paws' reach! Learn more about safe feeding practices to keep your pet happy and healthy.

Knowing what not to feed dogs and other pets can save your dog from health complications, so it's best to know how your table scraps can be a risky treat.
