There’s no better feeling to know that our line here at Spicewood Mastiffs is always connected to the best families who respect and love this breed. Tom and Cindy have loved on big Judge and have been responsible to schedule his preventative care and keep Judge on track to ensure proper care. There is a great deal of attention required for an English mastiff as well as all dogs.

Their calm and low-key nature contrasts with this. Sometimes the breed can get expensive like everything else. We’re glad to see such great care for this boy! What a fine example of what’s to care for this gentile giant.

Another one for the books. Bradley and fam drove in after a vacation to pick up their Brutus. They’re north of Dallas so not too far away. Kiddos were stoked and ready to leave their vacation to come get little buddy.

Karen and Hank picked up Sasha a few months ago and now are back for their second mastiff with us. Bo is going to have a good life with these two! She even was sweet enough to bring us fresh homemade bagels from their bakery in Conroe.

Big Judge is named after a tank! He’s headed home to Llano, Texas with a retired Army Veteran and his wife. He’s close to home and we’re so happy to help this family bring home another pup. They lost their last mastiff a short time ago and are ready to bring another big boy home. They’re an experienced mastiff family and we appreciate the love and knowledge for the breed. ❤️

Puppy pick up week! This baby girl is headed to New Mexico with a veterinarian and retired dairy farmer. This girl went home to the perfect family and we’re so thankful for them.

Beorn Bomba Caroom is almost 4 months. He’s Chewy’s offspring and the newest member of the pup squad. Fun facts about Beorn are as follows: he’s terrified of the coffee grinder noise (it goes off at 4:45 am each morning) and he cries as soon he hears it. His name comes from the movie “The Hobbit”. He’s the skin changer called Beorn that turns in to a giant Bear. Beorn is a Mama’s boy and follows Tankerbelle (Mom) everywhere. He’s spoiled and only eats a certain type of canned puppy food. He loves pringles and 🌭 wiener sausages and sits at the refrigerator each morning for some. He loves to hide in my corral vines and plants. He loves to cuddle and throws himself in your lap which I love most of all. He’s a special boy and I see so much of Chewy and Tankerbelle in him.

English Mastiffs are gentile giants until you mess with their human. This big boy along with other mastiff brother live to protect their little owner. He’s playing in this video obviously but I can imagine if this was a real threat. Good luck 😁😅
