When traveling with your dog, you should consider things like:
* SUPPLIES:οΏ½Bring dog poop bags, treats, a bowl, and water bottles. οΏ½οΏ½
* POTTY BREAKS:οΏ½Dogs need frequent potty breaks, so plan for dog-friendly rest stops if you're driving, or find out where your dog can relieve themselves at airports if you're flying. οΏ½οΏ½
* COMFORT: Make sure your dog is comfortable with their travel gear before you go. For example, if you're traveling by train, your dog may need to be in a pet carrier for the entire trip. You can also try acclimating your dog to their carrier by putting them in it for short periods of time each day before your trip. οΏ½οΏ½
* HEALTH: Take your dog for a health check before traveling to make sure they're healthy enough and up to date on their vaccinations. If you're flying, you may also need a health certificate for your dog. οΏ½οΏ½
* PLANNING: If you're flying, you can also make a plan with your veterinarian for how to handle food, water, and medication
