We were lucky enough to have one of our puppies come stay for the Winter Games weekend!! Archer's new family lives in DesMoines and is some of our besties. Olivia had a great weekend of play, and she and Jackson taught Archer how to use the doggie doors.
I can't believe how big he is already!! 😍
Our puppies updates are always the highlight of the week...they are all so loved!!! ❤️

We have another new addition at Coyote Ranch!!
After a rough month for little Cricket being attacked twice (she’s okay…it was a Coyote first, and POS local dogs the second time) I spent a day on the road to go pick up her new bodyguard, Ollie!! Ollie has been a herd protector his whole life. I thought that he’d stay outside all the time…but it only took 2 nights of everyone else coming in at night for him to share his displeasure. He feels that it’s far too cold and lonely in NW Iowa to be outside by himself. So he comes in at night also!! Cricket had to give up her stall and go back in the storage corner…but it’s a small price for the protection that she’ll receive. I’ve had no prior experience with donkeys…but I absolutely love this one! Ollie is so sweet, and very quick to greet anyone that might be serving meals. 😂 He’s been tolerant of Cricket bossing him around, and seems to have accepted to she will always rule their shared spaces. He loves ALL treats, and loves to be brushed. Getting him to do anything that he doesn’t want to has been interesting…rather a stubborn boy.
So far, life on the ranch is better with a donkey in it!! ❤️

What do you do when your playful gelding loses his playmate, and an almost 60 year old Cowboy wants a project? You go shopping, of course!! 😃
Madissen Larson and I spent the day on the road Sunday, and came home with Kentucky Bourbon…Tucker. We’re so excited about him!!! He’s only 5 and needs some time with Madissen…but he’s super sweet and very big will to please. He’s past is unknown, so Michael Kelly is winning him over slowly with food and love.
Barn projects are the best!!! 😃❤️

And a big thank you to Alexis Fraise for rescuing this pretty boy from the auction, and showing him lots of attention and love!! 😍

And just like that…all 12 puppies are sold. All sold to 12 amazing families that will love them like we do. Can you believe that??

We want to thank everyone that has helped with this crazy venture over the past 4 months. There’s been so many friends and family that chipped in and let us sleep when the babies were tiny and fragile, or brought us food when we were exhausted, or just came to hang out and hold the darling little bundles. We appreciate all of you!!!

We don’t think we’ll ever do it again, but it was an incredible experience. I’m kind of glad that the last little pup can‘t go to her new homes for a few weeks…I’m not quite ready to let go of the last one.
The puppy gym looks a little worse for the wear, but it’s had a hard 4 months. We’re all tired!! 😆

Looking for 3 lucky families!!
Life goes on at the Ranch with just 2 puppies here! Lulu and Gretchen have their big puppy room all to themselves, and get lots of attention now. They have started kennel training, and are doing fantastic! Our other pup Bessy is being fostered by a great young couple that have taught her so much - these pups are super smart!!
Olivia has slipped into best friend mode with these pups, and plays so hard all day with them. They love having a big back yard!
These 4 month old pups are so ready for a family. They’ll be the best decision you’ve made in a long time!! 😍

Meet Lulu, Gretchen, Lenny and Bessy!

They are 14 week old black Golden doodles.
We are down to 4 puppies and looking for homes for them!! These little darlings are ready for a family! They are 100% litter trained, and mostly house trained. They have been on walks, gone to the Farmers Market, ridden in my truck, and even got to visit Bomgaar’s!! They do it all without any issues. They love people of all ages, and get along with other dogs and cats. They’ve had all their vaccinations and been wormed 3 times - they are super healthy and happy pups!!
Do you know anyone considering a fur baby? Send them our name or website!! 😃

Lenny had a fun morning at the Farmer’s Market!! Taking these pups there every Saturday has gotten them so socialized…and their leash skills are improving! 😃
They love scratches and pets from all ages, and are so good about dogs coming up and checking them out.

Cricket is a lucky little lady!!
A couple weeks ago we had some besties come stay with us, and Cricket got a permanent “My size” fenced area. 😃

The remaining pups play all day in our big backyard…but their favorite thing to do is to splash in their backyard pool!! It’s the best way to spend a hot afternoon! 😃

And we're down to 5 puppies!!
I can hardly believe that we've found 7 amazing homes for our babies already...we've been SO lucky! ❤️
The little turkey's are 12 weeks old now, litter trained and mostly house trained. They are all getting grey masks, and I really have no idea how much their color will change in the future. They could easily be multi-colored considering the stud dogs genes.
The crew has been to the Farmer's Market several times to meet all kinds of people and pets...and they love it all!
If you know anyone looking for a super sweet pup - please pass our name on to them! 😃

We've had a few pups go to their forever homes, and we've been SO lucky to have wonderful families for our sweet little pups. The update from Betty Steenblock yesterday was Pete The Tank all decked out in his new harness. He has some hunting in his future...could he be any cuter?? 😍

What a fun morning at the Farmer’s Market!! We took 4 pups again to get socialized. The 2 pups that have to fly soon traveled to and from in their flight bags (with some grievances 😂). So much to learn for the pups.
They got so much love! The little star was 16 month old Stella who just dove in and became part of the puppy pile. It was darling!! ❤️

We have a few pups left if anyone needs a wonderful little companion!
