CLINIC SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Our clinic will be closing at 2pm on Tuesday, December 17th. Our staff is being treated to a holiday movie to kick back and relax!

We are still available to our clients for pet emergencies.

Just a reminder the clinic will be closed on Thanksgiving day so our staff can enjoy time with their family and friends. We will be open regular hours on Friday. As always emergency services are available for our clients. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Remember to watch what foods you give your furry friends. Thanksgiving foods you enjoy may not always be the best for them!

Do you love dogs?? Come join the kennel team at Dickinson County Animal Clinic!! We are currently hiring for a part-time weekend and evening position.

You get to care for, walk and play with a variety of dogs every day. This would be the perfect after school or 2nd job if you're looking for a few extra hours. Worried about your experience?? The only experience we require is that you LOVE DOGS and are not afraid to get a little dirty! We are always willing to train the right person for the job.

UPDATE.... ELVIS HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!

LOST DOG!!!! This cute little guy is Elvis. Please help us find him and get him back to his family. He is a tiny little black shih tzu mix that got out sometime this morning. He is not wearing a collar but does have a microchip. He was last seen 1 mile west of Vick's Corner around Hwy 9. $500 Reward for the safe return of Elvis!

Does anyone need any big Styrofoam containers??? They work great for feral cats, coolers or even storage!!! Stop by the front desk and they can get as many as you want!!!

We have an immediate opening for a Client Care Specialist!

A Client Care Specialist is the first and last contact our patients and clients have with our clinic. A CCS needs a strong background in customer service, friendly personality and must enjoy working with people and animals. Other important traits include a positive work ethic, reliability, able to handle payment and financial issues, a friendly attitude in person and on the phone, and confidence to deal with stressful situations. This position is fast-paced and very people interactive. The ideal CCS should be able to retain veterinary-specific details, have high computer proficiency, and an ability to multi-task without display of frustration under stress in view of clients. Positive communication among all team members is critical for success

This is a full-time position with benefits including PTO, 401K, Health Insurance options, employee discounts and scrub allowances.

With the temps warming up this week here are some good reminders about what heat can do to your furry friends.

Watch paws on hot pavement, test with your hand, if it's too hot for you it's too hot for them!!! Remember our lakes are not safe for dogs swimming right now. Make sure water is available and limit their time outside right now.

Summer is a fun time to enjoy the outdoors, be safe and protect your pets with these tips! ❤️🐾❤️

We know it's been a challenging week for the residents of Spencer and surrounding areas. As you begin to pick up the pieces and move forward we want to continue to offer our boarding services to you if needed. We are equipped to help take care of any size dogs in our boarding facility while you and your families make arrangements.

If you are in need of dog boarding please call our clinic with any questions or to arrange their stay. If you are in need of help to transport your pet please let us know and we can help to facilitate a way to get them to us as well.
