To maintain their health and happiness, for coats over 3/4inch, we require a maximum of 4-week intervals between grooming sessions. Our schedule is filling up quickly, and we want to ensure your furry friends receive the care they need.

As we enter the season when fields start to dry and the weather heats up, it's a joyous time for many with bonfires and fireworks lighting up the nights.

However, for us with the Emergency Animal Assistance Crew, it's a time of heightened alert and deep concern. Last year, many of us braved the flames to save your beloved pets and livestock after evacuations. We endured burns, injuries from frightened animals, and dedicated weeks of our lives to protecting your homes and animals. Every fire announcement triggers us, sending a wave of fear through our souls as we relive the devastation of searching through the remnants of homes for pets we know were inside, as we remember the ones we were too late to save and those that despite our efforts lost their lives to their injuries.

We are proud of the lives we saved, but the emotional toll is immense. We never want to experience this again, especially when it's preventable. The thought of risking our lives and the lives of our search dogs for a moment of fun is heart-wrenching. We beg you to consider the consequences of your actions. Fire safety is paramount; your decisions can mean the difference between life and death for our cherished animals and our brave team members.

We are here, ready to act if tragedy strikes again, but we hope our help won't be needed. Please, let’s work together to prevent these fires and protect our communities. Your beloved pets and our dedicated crew of community members depend on your vigilance.
