Our master roaster, Tim, hand-crafts and small-batch roasts specialty-grade, single-origin beans. The beans from southern Mexico’s Chiapas region are grown organically without pesticides and boast chocolate, citrus, and lemon flavors from the area’s tropical conditions, higher altitudes, and volcanic soils.

Our specialty-grade, single-origin beans from the Indonesian archipelago are carefully hand-crafted and small-batch roasted by our master roaster, Tim. These beans are double-picked and grown organically, resulting in a unique flavor profile with hints of dark chocolate, sweet plums, and caramel.

Hi, we’re Steven and Elizabeth. In 2009, after we had been married for almost a year, we became starter parents to Bentley. He was a 100-pound gentle giant shepherd and husky mix. We adopted Bentley from a rescue in Yakima, WA. He was a good boy and a great family member; full of love with a calming presence who “smiled” at those he considered his pack.

We lost Bentley to old age in August of 2019, and we were truly heartbroken. He was a much-loved family member, and we were so grateful that we got to be the people he spent his life with. As with everything, time heals. When the time came to get another dog for our family, we knew adoption would be our path again. We ended up adopting Bodie from a shelter that specializes in bringing pregnant moms from Texas to the Pacific Northwest.

Through our experiences of pet adoption our eyes were opened to the extent of the problems facing these shelters and rescue organizations, and the people that work with them. We knew that we wanted to help, to do more. As parents with full time jobs and young children there was only so much we could do. We knew we couldn’t save them all, but we also decided we couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

We came up with an idea to create a social-impact company that supports shelters and rescues. We are creating quality products people, and their pets, need and already buy, and we donate 10% of sales back to shelters and rescues. The money we donate is used for medical treatments, spay and neuter surgeries, to house and feed pets up for adoption, and to help non-profits run their programs. These organizations, and the people working in them, do amazing things and donations will help them get more done. More money will mean helping more dogs and cats with the goal of getting them into an appropriate, loving forever home.
